A dog hiking service. Outings last 1.5 hours around/within Port Alberni.

Pace, distance, leashed/unleashed nature of outings will be determined through interviews with dog owners. $25: 9-10:30am-Mon+Fri. 11-12:30pm-Tues, Wed, Thurs.

I would like to wish everyone a safe holiday season with family and friends. Thanks to everyone for all the Christmas well wishes and tasty treats too. The pictures below were from a hike on Christmas Eve. This full rainbow appeared briefly and I could not get my camera out fast enough to try and catch a picture of everyone in front of it. Naturally the dogs were like herding cats.....

Highlights from our first snowy hike of the season. We had to climb pretty high up the mountain to find a dusting of snow but my hiking buddies were pretty excited nonetheless. Enthusiasm levels increase exponentially the moment paws come into contact with snow.

I hope everyone has had a good summer. I myself am eager to get back into more of a regular routine with my 4-legged hiking buddies. I took a little break from posting but not from picture taking. I have started sorting through some of the MANY pictures I took this summer and will post some of my favourites as I get to them. Don't be surprised if you see summer pictures posted in December. I had no idea before I started this job that I was capable of filling up a computer hard drive almost entirely with dog pictures.

A while back I was at the beach with my kids and dogs and one of my kids saw me reaching for my camera said to me, "Dad, don't we have enough pictures of our dogs already?" I grinned, looked over at them and said, "I could be addicted to worse things." Some highlights from the summer so far.
