👉 UPDATE: Despite recent debate, according to research by Dogs Trust, the below information from Burgess appears to be factual.

Although rare, we strongly believe it is safer to err on the side of caution with such potential harm. Rapeseed can cause damage to your dog if ingested.

Additionally, the flowers are sprayed with fungicides to protect the developing seeds, and this can cause dogs to blister and cause other complications if they are allowed to run through a recently sprayed field.

❌ RAPESEED! ❌
It’s that time of year again where farmers fields have blossomed into pretty yellow flowers, these plants are called rapeseed. Although it may be tempting to place your dog in the mist to take a scenic photo, please avoid this at all costs!
Rapeseed can be extremely poisonous for dogs, especially in highly sensitive canines.
Rapeseed is listed by Dogs Trust as toxic to our dogs if ingested and can cause symptoms such as:
❌Haemolytic Anaemia
❌ Blindness
❌ Damaged Nervous System
❌ Digestive Disorders
❌ Breathing Problems

⚠️ Even walking through these fields should be avoided!

Please seek immediate veterinary attention if your dog shows any signs of rapeseed poisoning.

So happy to share with you all our first review ♥️We had the pleasure of this gorgeous pair for a week- as you can see they settled in nicely 💤

We have been so lucky to have met lots of lovely dogs on their meet and greets and all booked in for stays with us, feeling so very lucky to be able to do what I do 🐾
