Hi I'm Crosby! My foster family calls me Bug because I'm such a love bug. My stay with them is only temporary since the resident Frenchie doesn't like me. I am dog friendly though! I LOVE my foster sister Marcy and I really wish Bubba liked me because I'd love to play with him too.
Would you consider fostering me, or better yet, foster to adopt? GRASP will take care of all of my vetting, neuter, and supplies.
I am:
Estimated 35-40 pounds, 2ish years old (we'll know more after his vet appointment tomorrow)
Kid friendly
Dog friendly
Crate trained (only for short periods currently)
Working on potty training but I don't have accidents in my crate.
I walk okay on the leash but haven't had any training yet. I'm still settling in.
A quick learner.
Eager to please and very trainable
I love humans soooo much 💕

In the wild, mama dogs will hunt and eat wild animals, then regurgitate it for her pups to eat! Instead of weaning puppies straight to an ultra processed kibble that is loaded with carbs, fillers, and synthetics, puppies will thrive on a fresh raw diet! Obviously they can't chew raw meaty bones, so our ground puppy formula is perfect!
Foster pup, Rocco came to us eating kibble. Let me tell you, his poops were SO STINKY! We immediately started feeding him 50/50 raw/kibble and noticed that his poops were less smelly!
Feeding a biologically appropriate raw diet can make such an impact on their health inside and out. Not to mention, a better disposition! If you feed a toddler processed cereal every meal, you'll often see behavior issues, same goes for our pets!
Don't waste your fruit and veggie scraps! They are perfect for your dog for additional nutrients and variety. Wonderful for their microbiome! Dogs digest vegetables best when they are cooked and pureed. Freezing them into cubes makes for easy storage and convenient feeding 🐾

Here's an example of how you can incorporate our base grinds and salmon grind into your rotation 😁
We are so excited to announce that we now manufacture in a local USDA inspected facility! Same small batch recipes and Katie is able to oversee production. Packaging will vary for a little while. We made some temporary packaging changes to figure out what works best.
As always, if you have supported us in any way, it does not go unnoticed! Without you, we wouldn't be here. We appreciate you ❤️
Please like and share to spread the word!

Marcy had her spay surgery which caused some GI upset. Chicken and rice is not the best option since rice is highly inflammatory and can add to GI upset. Instead, we do this! These ingredients have much more healing properties than boiled chicken and rice. Especially the slippery elm, it coats and soothes the GI tract. The sweet potatoes or pumpkin are easy to digest and provide fiber, lean muscle meat provides an easy to digest protein.
Keep this in mind for the next time your pet gets tummy troubles!

The packaging shown here was the runner up when we took a poll to see which packaging our customers preferred. There are pros and cons to each option. These plastic packs are slightly less convenient because they require you to cut open the package and transfer to another container. But they take up a lot less space and do not have any air to cause freezer burn.
This video shows an easy way to open them without getting messy or wasting any food.
We are in the process of transitioning our complete and balanced dog foods into eco -friendly paper containers. Although our top selling base grinds will be packaged in the plastic packs shown. We simply do not have enough space to put all of our dog food products in the paper containers.
We apologize if this is an inconvenience for you, but remember to focus on the positives 😉 they take up less space and no freezer burn!
🛍️🛒⏰ FLASH SALE! ⏰🛒🛍️
In an effort to make more space for the new packaging, we will be running a FLASH SALE on certain dog food products starting TODAY at NOON through MONDAY!

This is how we transitioned our foster Rango to raw. He wouldn't eat it at first but it only took a couple days for him to come around. Our website now has a page with more information on how to transition!
We do custom formulations! Email us if you have a dog or cat with special dietary needs 😊
You'll start noticing new labels on our products! We have a new label maker that can print cold and moisture resistant labels at a low cost. It doesn't print color, unfortunately, but we keep our packaging basic so we can keep our prices affordable!
You also might receive new packaging if you order Canine Beef Complete or Chicken Complete. We are testing out new packaging options. Stay tuned for more updates!

There's been an increase in our feline food sales and we're so excited about it! 👏👏👏 We've seen the raw feeding movement with canines for a while now but not quite as much for our feline friends.
We offer complete and balanced meals for both canine and feline friends! We have separate formulas per species because dogs and cats have different nutrient requirements. For example, dogs are considered omnivores and are equipped to digest some plants and carbs, whereas cats are obligate carnivores meaning they are designed to eat only animal tissue.
We've fine tuned our formulas to be more palatable for those picky felines too. No seeds or vegetables, only ingredients that their body is equipped to digest.
So keep it up feline friends, let's get more local felines hooked on a fresh raw diet 😻

There's no need to add much more to our meals, but if you want to mix things up occasionally, you can find some good stuff at your local Asian Market. I don't buy here frequently because I don't know much about where they source from and how the animals were raised. But everything in moderation, right? 😉
Certain items are difficult to source around here. So today I grabbed quail eggs, duck feet, soup bones for broth, and wild caught sardines and mackerel.
Items you want to avoid are anything that is white. It's white because it was bleached. So intestines, tripe, lungs, tendons... All the good stuff has been stripped from them.
Any questions, just reach out!
Show us your bowls! 🐶😻 They don't have to be glamorous... take a pic of any meal containing Roc City Raw and tag us! Let's inspire more pet owners to feed a fresh diet 😁
Here's a hodgepodge meal for our dogs. It's not pretty but it gets the job done!

Wow we had such an amazing first year in business! Thank you to all of our wonderful customers, friends, family and community who have supported us along the way. We wish you a wonderful and healthy new year 🎊
We are so excited for what 2024 will bring! Stay tuned for some exciting news 😁
Little Bubs has a slight limp so in an effort to reduce inflammation and pain, he's going to start getting golden paste. It has so many healing properties, it can even kill cancer cells! As well as help with IBD and digestive health. It's some magical stuff! Here's how I make it 🧑🍳
Recipe:
*Measure with your heart*
1-1/2c water or low sodium broth
1/2 - 1c tumeric powder
*Simmer until thick*
1/4c coconut oil
1tsp fresh cracked pepper
1tsp cinnamon
1/4c honey (optional)
*Keep in fridge for up to two weeks, or freeze*
Dosage for Dogs & Cats:
1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon per day, for every 10lbs of weight (1/2 – 1 tsp for a 40lbs dog)
TIPS: Turmeric leaves the body quickly, so it’s best to feed smaller amounts a few times a day.
Some pets won't like the taste, it's spicy! Try disguising in kefir or bone broth. Start with a small amount and gradually increase the amount so your pet can get accustomed to the taste.
