Ray and I are working on 2025 Goals as we drive home from Wisconsin. We will post all of them soon, but one goal is House Organizing and Purging things we don't use (yes! We have things in the house that we have not used in all of 2024).

With work and kid activities...and just life....it is hard to get everything done. So, I am trying out a schedule for one clean up task per day (plus a few catch up days because I know me)...we will see how successful I can be this month.

I think this is a beautiful idea for the garden. It is not only repurposing an old item but it also creating a functional and beautiful planting space.

I think these would be a fun project to start in 2025. We have the feed bags, so seems smart to give them a second life in a useful way.

I also have my notebook to make plans. I cannot wait to start in the greenhouse after we return from our trip.

We have another batch of the Red Long Beans ready to pick. They are about 18 to 24 inches long and they are going to taste great in a stir fry.

The second crop of Cucumbers we planted in the old frig are doing great. They are climbing up the trellis about 2-3 feet now and blooming everywhere. I am looking forward to fall cucumbers.

Remember a few weeks ago when we talked about planting a second season of Cucumbers....Check these out!! They look really healthy and just started flowering. Can't wait to get these extra cucumbers before fall hits.

Seed Saving!!!

I now have 100+ Lemon Basil Seeds saved for next year all from one Lemon Basil plant. It is not as daunting as it sounds.

Definite Nerdy Moment coming at you.....I have been wanting a larger Canner for a long time and with some encouragement from Ray I finally got it!!!

Look at this BEAUTIFUL thing! It can hold soooo many jars at once and is going to save me so much time!!

Did a maiden voyage tonight and canned 16 pints at once and the bottom level wasn't even packed tight. Did the job in half the time as my regular canner!

Litchi Tomatoes are one of the unique things we planted in the garden this year. They are a prickly, spikey Tomato Plant with unique white and yellow flowers. The fruits have shells on them until ready to pick.

Ours are looking beautiful and the fruit is getting close to harvest.

Try something unique in your garden each year, you never know what you might like. Any suggestions for us to try next year??
