🇵🇭 The Philippines leads in dog ownership across Asia Pacific!

Based on data from Rakuten Insight published in 2021, the percentage of pet dog ownership in the Asia Pacific region shows that the Philippines ranks the highest with a dog ownership rate of 67%. Followed by Vietnam with 53% and Thailand with 47%, which rank second and third in Southeast Asia.

The methodology involved an online survey using Rakuten Insight’s panel, with a sample size of 97,000 respondents from China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, and Vietnam.
