Tear jerking story ahead & a perfect example of how our can change lives Our customer sent a photo of her nephew with their new puppy Winnie. He's autistic and hasn't spoken at all since their last Shih Tzu passed away a month ago. This little girl came home to them, he carried her and then looked up at his mom and said "Look Mom! I think she likes me!". First words he's spoken in a month!

A Special Day for New Jersey Wish Child

It is always an honor and a privilege to work with the Make-A-Wish Foundation on granting puppy wishes. Out of all the wish capabilities available, a puppy wish is one that keeps on giving! We recently worked with Make-A-Wish New Jersey to help grant another puppy wish! This one was for a Shih Tzu puppy for a child by the name of Alexis.

Alexis is a 6 year old boy with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (A.L.L.), a type of cancer of the blood and bone marrow that affects white blood cells. He was actually in the hospital when he made his wish for a best friend to stay by his side. All Alexis wanted was a companion to play with. So, we quickly coordinated with New Jersey wish granters to find a Shih Tzu puppy just for Alexis!

The Loscano family ended up selecting an adorably fluffy Shih Tzu by the name of Kale! As soon as Kale received his nose- to- tail veterinary exam, he was ready to make his way to Alexis! Kale traveled in style on our chartered our Air plane. He was met on the ground by our very own CEO, Josh Cherins. Soon after his arrival, Josh and Kale made their way to a local park to surprise Alexis.

At the park, wish volunteers and the Loscano family were ready and waiting for Kale's grand entrance. Everyone was overcome with joy when Alexis and Kale were finally united!

Thank you, Make-A-Wish New Jersey and everyone involved with making Alexis' wish come true!
