Grown up guineas. Surprise, surprise, it turns out they are very noisy. They are also very thrifty. These birds make a crazy racket when we open the guinea house in the morning, and then they set to work, marching across the field eating seed heads and insects as they go. I always loved these free roaming birds when we visited the Victoria backyards and now I get to see them every day!

"Embden"
Hard to pronounce, but definitely one of our most beautiful and popular goose breeds! This goose is know for its white plumage, orange feet & beak, and distinct blue eyes. Because of their fast growth rate, large size and white coloring, Embden are the most common goose used for commercial meat production - BUT they also make great additions to any backyard flock as well. As adults, both males and females are pure white and the only way you can determine the s*x is by viewing the males. The male Embden is normally larger, more pompous, and proud in their carriage. They also have a shriller voice as with other goose breeds.
