Sure, they may see you as a bipedal feeder, but they also see you as their protector and play mate
Give your dog all the time you can, and watch how you become the most important thing in your dogs eyes

Taking your pup on nature adventures is an amazing way to bond and enrich both your lives with lasting memories!
We spend so much time here on trails due to how admittedly blessed we are to have these trails on our doorstep.
The dogs just LOVE being here.
The outdoors
presents so much opportunity for the dogs to run, sniff out exciting smells, and tap into their natural instincts 🌿
This mental stimulation relieves boredom (making them sooo much more relaxed at home), plus, all that exercise strengthens their muscles, improves cardiovascular health, and keeps them trim - it's a win-win!
So if you want to start hiking with your dogs, just remember to check a few things first:
Some areas may have restrictions or leash laws, so do some research into the trails you plan to visit.
Be mindful of wildlife encounters – keep your dog leashed in areas with prey animals or potential dangers, especially if they aren't great with recall (need help with that? Hit me up!)
Pack plenty of water and be sure to check for ticks, nicks and burrs after your adventure!
With a little planning, exploring nature with your dog can be a safe, enriching, and unforgettable experience for both of you.
