Welcome to Pet Powered Life!!!
What's this site about? It might be easiest explained through sharing a story.
I once rented a room in a house that had cats, rented that particular room in fact, *because* they had cats. The owner didn't like the cats however, claiming that 'they never do anything useful'.
As a pet lover, you know that owner was wrong: pets are never going to do the laundry, or wash the dishes, but they (dogs, cats, and others) fascinate and entertain us; they soothe us when we're upset; they 'break the ice' for us, when visitors come knocking; talking about them creates bonds quickly when we meet other pet lovers...and I could go on.
The point is that pet lovers know, and much research confirms, our pet relationships are life enhancing on a grand scale.
But sometimes just when we would most benefit from those pet powers, we can't have our pets with us - if we're leaving home for the first time our family pet stays in the family home; if we're attending a social event that we're nervous about; or if we just need to bake a little extra fun into our day.
So we're trying to capture some of the essence of our pet relationships, in fun graphics, that will let us all deploy some proportion of our pet based super powers, even when our pets aren't with us.
We've got some really exciting plans that we're looking forward to sharing with you. This is going to be fun!
