So, today I had a gentleman have to cancel his puppy reservation. His previous dog, not from here, died and was not covered by his Trupanion policy, and now he has a $7000 Vet bill. I do not send my puppies home with insurance, and this is why. Pet insurance is a business, and businesses make a profit. I suggest to people it might be worthwhile to put the monthly premiums into a savings account. I wish this was the first time I was told this, but its far from it. I’m sure there are success stories out there, too, but this is my personal opinion.

Breeding plans update: Daisy is confirmed pregnant and due towards the end of November. Annie has been bred, and we expect a litter towards the end of January. Bernie is in season, and we hope will also be bred. It’s going to be a busy winter/spring here at Beardog if all goes well!
