Watching him roll himself up was so funny, but I wasn’t quick enough.
I need to continually have my camera on with these two. Earlier, Alfie got in the wrong crate. Ted stood looking at him, then looked at me, I burst out laughing. Alfie realised as he turned around and got out of it and into his own, watched by Ted who then looked at me again. I swear he rolled his eyes! You had to be there, but I couldn’t stop laughing!! 😂😂😂
Busy day today! First walk with the Whippett boys, then the Spaniel girls for a friend.
I hear you Jessie. Us old girls need a bit of calm sometimes, and you have my utmost sympathy. 😵💫😂
Morning all.
As you know, whippets are fast. Even more so when they’re pinching something. I’ve just seen a flash of grey (Ted) and pink flash past me into the garden. Pink? I don’t recall any pink dog toys? In slow motion, as I was just about to take a sip of my cuppa, my mug hit the worktop and barefooted, I pelted out onto the wet grass to retrieve my pink M&S trainer!!! Ted really enjoyed the chase, especially the dropping it bit then grabbing it again as I got near and running off with it! I do hope I stifled my laughter satisfactorily for the neighbours, and the gritted teeth whispered shouting of TED TED NO! DROP IT! TED!!!!! As it was 6:45am!!!
Thankfully the pink M&S trainer survived a fate worse than slipper, and has been retrieved unscathed. And I have got all the wet grass off my feet.
And, as a precautionary measure incase of further incidents, my nightie must be relieved of it’s duties and will be joining the slippers in the bin. It’s shrunk lately and is far too short for running round a garden in!!!!

I explained to her that I’ve already got rid of two, please don’t be saddling me with another one!! 😳😂
Here’s the whirling dervish that is Maisie. My eyes have never rolled around so much in my head just watching her! I will not forget to take her ball on Monday. But apparently, as told by two separate walkers, she’s well known on the field for pinching 😂😂
Morning coffee with the new boys, Ted & Alfie, sat outside in the sun. Could be our regular stop for the next week.

Little bit of extra walking to do this week, alongside my sit that starts tomorrow.
They do actually like each other, I just couldn’t get them to sit together.

I’ve now got the pet bed wash in litre bottles. These are £12, do at least 13 washes. A friend of mine washes her sofa throws with it that the dogs lie on. Her mum commented on them when she sat on the sofa, how lovely they smelled. You can still buy in smaller measures. I can decant into your own bottles (look at me being all eco friendly!) Or I’ve got some already prepared in 2 wash 150ml bottles @ £2.50. Obviously you’ll get more washes out of whichever bottle if you’ve only got small dog beds.
There’s loads of different perfumes. The Fresh Linen is very popular. I like the Lavender and Shea Butter.
At the moment I’ve got some Fresh Linen, Apple Blossom & Almond, and English Pear & Freesia.
I sat for a friend last week and needed to use her clothes airer, but it had clothes on. I took them off and folded up her few bits. Weather was rubbish, and feeling at a loose end, I decided to iron them for her. Got me thinking…..
As you’ve all gathered, I hope, I absolutely love this job! But I do have some spare time after I’ve fed, walked, played with and cuddled my four legged friends. So I’ve decided to start offering extra services.
So if you fancy having your ironing done, a good ‘do thru’ to come home to, your fridge cleaning out, beds stripping and making up again, anything really, just let me know.
(Please don’t ask to leave any kids with me tho! 😂) I’m going to do a proper post soon when I’ve looked into pricings.

So Lynne, nearly a whole year of walking dogs. Have you lost any weight?
No, but I’ve trimmed up a lot. In the place I didn’t want to! Shorts this time last year, shorts today. My legs were already too skinny! Why can’t that be my tummy and bum??

Fabulous morning today.
Firstly a visit to a beautiful Fox Red Labrador, that’s booked in for next year.
Then a reunion with lovely Lola that I sat for at the beginning of the year. It was great to see her again, and she loved her flamingo bandana present! (Ok, she didn’t even notice it) Treats were involved in the taking of this photo as she’s obviously a cocker! Say no more 🥰
However, as I’m on the move, I’ve just filled it with bags n boxes.
Well, the chucking everything back in the car bit has commenced. Client is on the plane as I type, coming back to their babies.
Time to get the marigolds on, chuck the beer/wine evidence in the bin, clear up the takeaway boxes and get my big knickers off the line. Or, in reality……..Quick tidy up of the dog toys, wash up my Ovaltine mug and dry my fruit and yogurt dish.
The last bit is true tho.
Another lovely sit in Guisborough. We’ve done countryside and beaches. Great area and looking forward to a different sit over here soon!!

My last day with Wilson and Betty. I absolutely love taking dogs to the beach.
Moving on to the home town of Northallerton tomorrow for three sits before I’m off again. Be good to have a catch-up with friends.
Well done Betty! This is the first sit that I’ve had her off the lead on the four sits I’ve done. She’s been smashing. So good at recall now. Ok, so a couple of times I had to shout TREAT! But that’s ok. If I wander off my friends just shout WINE! Same thing.
Betty, Wilson and Woody (who is sadly no longer with us) were my first ‘practise run’ sit last June, before I decided whether or not to set up this business. They were obviously good, cos in the September I ‘went live!’
And, we’ll have the patter of tiny paws on my next sit! 🥰
Never mind bedtime. I’ve got mine off after the last walk!
Just an idea. When I have my anniversary do, Sept 7th, I’m going to see if anyone would like any of these doing, for a small donation to go to Lucie’s Animal Rescue. Or the talking dogs? You could send a message to friends/family from your pet!

Back with Wilson and Betty again, for a much easier week than last week! 😂 Peace and calm resides here. But something more, much more than that, that sets my heat a flutter…..leftover apple crumble. Some people will go to great lengths to be crowned my favourite customers you know!! 😉

The last job before leaving. Well, before lots of kisses for the dogs. I hate walking away before mum and dad get back, but duty calls! I love seeing their reaction when they walk thru the door. And it’s easier for me too, cos then I don’t get tears in my eyes when I leave, sniff 😢

I couldn’t get the ball in the shot, but Pablo just walked thru the door, plonked the ball on my lap and just stood there, so funny. So, excuse me, my services are required!! Should’ve gone for a ball boy job at Wimbledon!!!
