Offering a variety of services from dog walking and pop in animal visits to nail clips and medicating pets. A little about me first, I am a Veterinary Nurse no longer working in practice (through my own choice) I have 10 years experience working in the animal industry, 6 of them as a Veterinary Nurse. I am passionate about my work and have had a variety of roles working in first opinion practice,
charity practice and as a Head Nurse. The Mobile Pet Nurse as a Registered Veterinary Nurse is not able to diagnose or prescribe medication for your pet. Any medication to be administered needs to be prescribed by a Veterinary Surgeon first. I am able to offer advise on preventative healthcare as a qualified and registered SQP (suitably qualified person) however cannot prescribe Veterinary Surgeon only products. I am able to offer nutrition advice for weight loss and gain and have a lot of experience in this area from my past work in practice, I have completed nutrition courses to aid with this advice. Ask about appointments and prices for these sessions. I have knowledge and experience in post surgery rehabilitation and physio therapy however I am not an animal physiotherapist, any exercises given to you by your Veterinary Surgeon for you to do at home with your dog post orthopaedic surgery/spinal surgery for example that you are struggling to find the time to do because of work I am able to visit and do, ask for more information. Dog walks- I will only walk dogs from the same household together, walks will never be with dogs from another household or group walks. I am happy to consider walking dogs with behavioural problems etc, we can discuss this first. An appointment will be made prior to any walks or pop in visits. This meet and greet appointment will allow the pet/s and I to get to know each other with you around first.
‘No dog has died from missing one walk, but dogs have died from one walk in the heat!’ walk already checked off ✅ for my boy, today is going to reach 30 degrees in our area!

It is now compulsory for cats to be microchipped including indoor cats and cats of all ages over 20 weeks old. Last night I got to see these two little beauties again! Their owners had been on a business trip so I picked them up from the kennels, brought them home and got them settled with their tea after lots of cuddles and slobbery kisses of course!

As the time of year is upon us and we start the festive shopping. The awful pet Christmas line is in all the shops... Please don’t get these for your pets this Christmas, as you can see this is rawhide and it has been artificially dyed red and green and glued into different shapes.
The vast majority of these rawhide products and treats come from China.
Their journey starts with the hides being soaked in a toxic sodium sulphide to remove the hair and fat. More chemicals are used in order to split the hide into layers which is then washed with hydrogen peroxide to give the white "pure" look and remove the rancid smell.
Now comes the pretty festive colours and the glue to form cute shapes.
They regularly cause intestinal blockages and choking. The chews go slippery when wet and are near impossible to get hold of to save a choking dog.
Please be safe this Christmas and pick a much nicer alternative for your pooches♥️

This little lady had a nail clip last week, with minimal handling and as stress free as possible (Milly does not like being handled and hates the vets) with the cat lick as a distraction and getting to stay in her own home she much preferred it!🐾🐱🐈
