It's just my luck that I would have chicks hatching with a cat 4 hurricane headed our way!

There are 10 Blue Old English game bamtams.
Anyone have any interest in them? Only 2 dollars each ❣️
I really don't need any more chickens 🫣🤭
Plus we're out of power. I've got the generator going running heat lamps only 🤣 and the coffee pot occasionally.

The only reason I incubated these was because we had a predator issue, and locked up our chickens in their coops. We found this nest in the goat shelter and the hen wouldn't sit on them once we moved them.

I went to visit my hay dealer yesterday....
And yall, He got me hooked on something new...

If I would have had pasture space... This baby would have been mine! 🥰
I really think he would fit right in with the Labradors 😊

Good morning!
👋🏼 Calling all my animal loving humans!

I have a fully feathered baby Robin with wry neck that has fallen out of the nest and can't take care of itself. The parents are desperately flying around it but it needs help.
The wry neck could be from an injury from falling out of the nest or it could be a vitamin deficiency.
So basically someone just needs to feed this baby and give liquid vitamins.

I just have too many other critters I am nursing to be able to give this one my attention.

Can anyone take over?

The Joro spiders are back! They are so tiny! Start killing now before they mature and start mating.
We've got chain link around an area on the back side of the house and there is a joro spider in every other opening.
I am trying a 50/50 mixture of vinegar and water in a garden sprayer. We will see

Picked up our second Nubian yesterday evening and I fell in love before I even made it to the car with him! He was supposed to be a she but by the time I realized, I was already attached! Lol so, meet Oliver! 🩵
He is a two and a half week old bottle baby who is already a mama's boy. Look at the little heart on his nose!

Sometimes, the reason a chick can't make it out of the egg on its own is because something is wrong. I helped this little fella out yesterday because it had pipped two holes and was breathing and chirping just fine but couldn't make it any further for 24 hours. It has been another 24 hours and the little fella cannot straighten itself. It's spine seems to be deformed.
Ignore the sound of the parrot shreeking in the background at the end 🫣

Every time I look across the yard and see Charlene, I hear Moto Moto serenading her 😂
I've been waiting for her to drop these babies for about a month now! I don't know her due date but it should be soon! And I'm thinking triplets!

We took Mia the house goat (🤫 shhhh, She thinks she's one of the Labradors) on a field trip to Dunkin drive thru, Lowe's and to get our pickup order from Walmart. She was a hit!

One of my favorite standard size breeds is the Sumatra chicken. Gorgeous, proud, docile and protective.

I have a male mini rex back up for adoption!
I love breeding for temperament and this boy is the absolute sweetest! He comes from two of the most tolerant parents that I have ever had. He has been handled and loved on every day since the day he was born. Not shy at all. Doesn't run from you and enjoys the attention!
Been raised in a cage as well as colony style so he will get along well with others as long as the other is not a bully. Raised on a water bowl not a water bottle, so he will need an attachable bowl to his enclosure.
