Today, we received the final bill for sweet Ethel’s emergency vet visit earlier this month, totaling $1,400.41. So far, we’ve only received $110 towards her bill. Without that critical vet care, Ethel wouldn’t be with us today. Thanks to your past support, she’s now thriving, but we’re in a tough position. Until we can clear Ethel’s bill—along with several others—we simply can’t bring any new animals into our care. Cheddar Update🧀🐾 Our sweet boy Cheddar is eating well and handling his oral antibiotics, eyedrops, and sub-q fluids like a champ. While he’s stable, we’re still concerned due to his severely emaciated condition, so we’re keeping a very close watch on him. Please remember to spay/neuter and vaccinate your cats to prevent kittens like Cheddar from suffering. We’re still in need of donations to cover the cost of his food and supplies. 18 pups at ONE home! This is a common sight on some communities. Sadly there is not easy access to vet clinics and the cost of spay/ neuters are often more expensive. Unfortunately we are not able to accept any of these pups into care but we can help the front line workers in this community with food and resources! We need dog food donations (specifically puppy food) as well as monetary donations so we can send some much needed preventative medication like dewormer for the animals in this community. All monetary donations sent for this situation will help us purchase needed medication, food and hopefully we will get enough donations to book a few dogs in for spays so they are not contributing to the overpopulation of animals in our province!
