Poor Baby has been one of the shelter's longest residents. Unfortunately due to being at critical capacity, Baby has a deadline if she is not adopted or rescued by 6/12/23. We hope our community will join us in fighting to find placement for her!
Meet Baby, a sweet and gentle pit mix who is looking for her forever home. At first, Baby may appear to be timid when meeting new people, but with a little patience and understanding, she quickly warms up and becomes a friendly and affectionate companion.
Baby's ideal home would be one that can help her gain more confidence. She has had some experiences that have left her feeling a bit unsure about the world, so a patient and loving family would be perfect for her. With time and positive reinforcement, we are confident that Baby will blossom into a confident and happy dog.
While Baby is selective about her doggie friends, she gets along famously with her sister, Spider. However, it is not necessary to adopt them both as Baby would be happy to be the center of attention in her new home.
Baby is house trained and crate trained, so you can expect her to be a well-behaved and obedient companion. Additionally, she will come with a training package to help her new owners continue to build her confidence and help her become the best version of herself.
