Day one was successful in many ways despite the rain that came the minute Rinc finished his last jump. Rest of the day was postponed til tomorrow, but we got all our jumps in so into our dry traveling command center we went to chill. Dogs are watching movies now and resting after having a great dinner of kibble and ground beef with water.
Karma enjoyed sleeping with me in the bunk last night and said I am going to say thanks mom by jumping good. 16 ft for her!
Rinc well he is starting to learn that this is the best sport ever and started with a 15 foot 11 inch jump and ended his jumps with a 18 foot 1 inch jump.
Another star here this weekend is Savage! Sig goes home with his dad at night. She spent the morning at the secretary desk helping to check in people once that was done she sat there and watched dogs run on the dock and jump in the pool. I think at this point she has it all figured in her little 10 week old head of hers.

UPDATED!!! UPDATED!!!
Ok for those of you who are asking for the next event we are doing....
September 7 - 8
UKC/SRS Last Chance Qualifier
COAST 2 COAST EXTREME
Luci-Furr unfortunately has to sit this event weekend out. :( She says she hates being a girl and not being allowed to participate when she comes in heat.
Rinc will be jumping again for SRS Finals to see if he can better is jumps! Due to Luci-Furr coming into heat this week Rinc will be replacing her on the Coast 2 Coast Team and be competing in a group event with three other dogs, two from Flight Crew and another one from our home turf of Catskill Mountain K9 Sports.
Karma will hopefully be happy jumping and swimming this time around with a Splash each day and Sunday will Participate in Raider Run.
Schedule of who is jumping when is included in photo. Times and Dates all listed.
Description of Events:
Splashes or distance jumping will measure the distance of a dog’s jump. The distance is measured from the end of the dock to
where the base of the tail breaks the water’s surface.
Fetch It, a bumper is suspended out and over the edge of the water at varying distances. The dog must jump and catch or knock down the bumper.
Raider Run is all about speed! Any dog that loves to retrieve is a candidate for this game. Dogs and handlers will be timed by a stopwatch, from the time the countdown ends to the time they reach the determined finish line.
Each team will get 1 minute on the dock. Upon stepping up onto the dock, the bumper will be splashed several times by the official bumper hanger so the dog can mark the bumper. Start line will be set at the 10 ft mark on the dock. A dog’s front paws must be
at and behind the 10 ft mark. Countdown will start when the handler gives a thumbs up or a verbal ‘READY” to the announcer. Time will start when the announcer states 1 of the “3,2,1” countdown. If the handler releases the dog prior to the “1” then they will have the opportunity to recall the dog one time only if the dog has not jumped into the pool. Otherwise, the time is counted as a “0.00.”
Dog will swim to the bumper extended from the end of the pool, take the bumper and head back to the ramp. Time will stop once the dog's nose crosses the designated finish
line.
The designated finish line will be as follows –
-10-foot mark in a 40-foot pool
- 15-foot mark in a 45-foot pool
- 20-foot mark in a 50-foot pool
Finish line will be determined so that dogs don’t slow down as they approach the ramp

Sorry guys for the lack of live feed today but the heat kept shutting the go pro.
But for the moment you all been waiting for....
Karma pulled out a new personal best today flying straight out off the dock and going 17 ft 9 inches putting her in the senior bracket. Which makes me sooo proud of her.
Rinc pulled out all the stops and finished right on the edge for finals with his furthest being 18 ft 11 inch going into finals.
Luci-Furr of course said one more time hold my beer Rinc cause you can't beat me on my home turf cause we all know Catskill Mountain K9 is her home turf now so she was leading the Senior group with a 19 foot 11 inch standing in first place going into finals.
Here's where it gets better.....I am pretty sure Luci came on the dock thinking I want to win but also knew SRS Championship was not going to be a place she could handle (sometimes the world is scary to her). So she jumped with all her heart but in the end let Rinc take the light. He jumped 18 ft 5 inches and Luci finished with a 18 foot jump.
So that being said the little boy that started about 2 months ago by running down the dock stopping and falling in has qualified for SRS Championship in the Senior decision.

Well guys sorry but go pro is down....we need equipment to handle this heat.

I hate photos of me but i have to share how far this little boy has come. He started off this season by sliding off the dock falling head first into the water I never thought he would jump the way he's jumping today at 18 ft 11 in being his top jump of the day. let's see what tomorrow brings.

A man and his dog. The bond these to have is amazing.

So,i start this post by apologizing to Every one that has been enjoying watching live. We had technical difficulties today with the GoPros and the heat I was focused on keeping the dogs cool and ready to jump. Thank goodness I did that because Rinc jumped 18 ft 11 in and Luci-Furr decided to pull out her A game and beat Rinc with a jump of 19 ft. It's a competition against gators! And best part is Karma hasn't jumped yet....will she step up and out junp them??? It's up to them to see who will win Outlaw Gold! or an invite to SRS and a pretty Catskill Mountain K9 Ribbon.
