**important update**
To our loyal clients and furst mate family,

Furst mate groom will be closing in 2023, and Sarah will be moving on from grooming after 7 long years of trade. Some of you are aware this decision has not been made lightly but has only been made less than 2 weeks ago. Sarah will be moving away from the pet industry and into a new career. For those who wish to get in one last groom before we close, there are limited appointments available for the first week of January. We will not be taking new clients at that time so we can allow for existing clients to take these places.
We are sad to be closing but excited for this new chapter and would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your support over the years, especially during covid and maternity leave. We will miss each and every one of you and appreciate you all.
We hope everyone has a merry Christmas and a fantastic new year.

Super soft and clean matt free cats. 😺
speacial thanks to my air muzzle and e-collar. without these tools, some cats could not be groomed. Not only do these types of collars prevent bites but it also gives shy cats a place to hide and feel safe. Keeping them calm as possible for the groom and reduce unwanted stress. These are so helpful for cats that have never experienced a groom before. The collars also reduce the ammount of sound passing the cats allowing them to acclimate to new sounds such as the water pump or dryer in the trailer.

We're coming back...starting next Tuesday 19th July!! I know alot of you are keen and have been patiently waiting. We've made some changes to hours, scedualing and pricing. So just be mindful when messaging for a booking.

New grooming hours are 9am-3pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

I've attached a revised cat grooming price list. For dog grooming, services have increased by $5. If you are not sure about your specific pet we can absolutely do a new quote when rebooking.

Its been over a year and we are almost ready to return to work and reopen after maternity leave!
Before bookings reopen (date to be announced soon) Sarah will be attending the NCGI Cat groomer conference for a skills refresher! This means your pets will once again recieve the most upto date and the best care. We pride ourselves in offering you the highest level of skill we can! Right on time! Congratulations Sarah and Glen and new employee little Vincent Phillip McGarvie.
born 15/7/2021 9.02 pounds/ 4.12kg all was well no problems, baby and parents all doing very well!

Well that's a wrap. Thanks to lockdown we finished 2 days shorter than intended! We are now on maternity leave and closed till 2022. We will have updates when we are back and operating closer to next year. Can't wait to meet our new little bundle of joy! 🤱🤱 We thank all our clients for their well wishes and gifts.

The count down is on! This is our last week of grooming till we temporarily close for maternity leave. We currently have no availability left. But if you're stuck for a groomer in the mean time I'm happy to recommend someone and give you their business contact details. We do not have a return date locked in but we will be back in 2022 at this stage.
