It's not as if we need a day to spoil our pups but hey, today we have to 😜
So here's your green light to go totally mutts!
Friendly Dog Walks app Friendly Dog Walks is first of all a community for dog lovers to find amazing walks suitable for their puppuroonies.
The goal is to develop an app that helps pawrents to find the best walks for their puppers. Born out of the need to know exactly what to expect on new walks, Friendly Dog Walks aims to be the go-to website, app and community and first port of call when planning the best day out with your four-legged friends!

So here's your green light to go totally mutts!
📍 Plas Power and Nant Mill Woods, Wrexham, North Wales
Accessible from the Nant Mill Visitor Centre car park, both woodlands are sure to get the pooches' tails wagging with so many smells to sniff out, open areas to play fetch in, and adventures to uncover. The waterfall is less than a mile from the car park so not long to walk for those water babies diving head in fur-st.
A moderate circular walk of around 1.2 miles long, is not recommended for those pooches with mobility issues as there are stepping stones to go over.
Super dog friendly, the woods have some rules that dogs must be kept on the lead at all times. Not only there is livestock around, but the woodlands are home to ground-nesting birds, particularly during nesting season (usually March-July).
This walk is paw-rfect in every season, but please note, that whilst the path is very well-worn, it can be slippery at times, so good trail boots for the accompanying humans are recommended.

📍 Loggerheads Country Park, Denbighshire, North Wales
Loggerheads can be a bit of everything, making it a perfect walk for those looking for a simple stroll or a hike.
For the casual weekend stroll, the forest-covered main path that runs alongside the river is even, making it suitable for senior dogs, and wheelchair users.
If you're a paw-ndering thrill-seeker there is a tougher cliff walk with a viewpoint looking out over Moel Famau for those active pups. This route is approx. 1.5 miles all the way around, with some steep steps on the way, but the view at the top makes it a worthwhile trek as there are plenty of incredible photo oppawtunities at the top.
Depending on the path you take, some have livestock grazing around and so we do not advise letting your dogs off the lead on this walk.

So this month we celebrate Raw food! The key is variety for a healthy and balanced diet.
We recommend you have a look Raw Pet Supplies - Cardiff for their calculators if you are looking to enter the world of raw feeding.
Because here we love all dogs, regardless of breed, age, s*x, or colour!
No excuse is needed today to smooch those fluffy faces!
I don't know about you but my dog loves boredom breakers and we know how good they are for them.
So here are a few suggestions of some of the boredom breakers we use:
➡️ Deer Antlers
➡️ Brain Games
➡️ Sniffing - 'Find It' Games
➡️ Frozen Treats
Which are your favourite ones to use? Give us recommendations as we love to try new things!

📍 Bryn Pydew Nature Reserve, Conwy, North Wales The perfect combination of woodland, wildflowers and silly dogs. The nature reserve is around 5 hectares and there is no entry fee. Parking is available at the entrance free of charge, aprox. a mile away from the reserve. There is no livestock around and dogs are allowed off-leaf, however please be mindful if there are dogs on leads. The path is through a stunning woodland, but there are some steps and it can be steep at times, so no wheelchairs or prams are advised on this walk. Once at the top the breathtaking view of Llandudno Junction and Conwy is just perfect, as you can see the estuary and Conwy Castle. 🐑 No livestock 🧑🦽 Not mobility friendly 🚻 No available bathrooms ☕ No amenities available 🅿️ Free parking
📍Newborough Beach, Anglesey This place holds a special place in my heart, besides being an absolutely stunning walk, with both forest and beach walks to choose from, the fact that off season dogs are allowed to walk off the lead and go play in the sea just makes it that much better. Besides, there is something about a nice long walk on the beach and watching the dogs play in the sea that makes everything so much better. #angleseycoastalpath #anglesey #friendlydogwalks #dogs #dog #dogwalks #dogfriendlyplaces #dogfriendlywalks #dogsofflead #beachwalks #seadipping #northwales #visitnorthwales
