This beautiful boy is Hunter, the one who started it all! Dec 27th will be the 5 year anniversary of his trapping, and little did we know at the time, that he would inspire the start of HVR. This handsome boy has changed a lot of lives for the good 😍

Meet Jersey!!

Many of you have been following Jersey’s story and we are excited to share that she is 100% ready for her new home. We are currently seeking a foster home or an adopter so that she does not have to spend the holiday in a kennel.

She was surrendered back to the rescue after 4 1/2 years with her adopters. There was constant change in her home with dogs in and out for boarding, and she was no longer interested in the inconsistencies. She’s done fantastic with chill dogs in boarding and is truly thriving. Jersey is eager to please, loves to learn, is food motivated, and gives the best loves!

❤️🐾Home Furever Home🐾❤️

Nacho found his furever this past weekend! He will be joining his new to him feline Senior brother “Little Man.” After having to be rehomed from his original family due to unfortunate circumstances, we are so excited that he is joining a dog loving family, including his new grandpawents. Nacho is excited to go on adventures with his new parents and have a true home for the holidays! 🎄

We are incredibly grateful for all of their clients & all of our followers who booked a teeth cleaning in November. They donated $5 for each cleaning which is helping tremendously for an unexpected Board And Train booked this week! Our mission to provide a holiday to the ages most often forgotten in the Orange County foster system is well under way (ages 9-18)!

Again this year, the items will ship directly to the home of a volunteer with the Guardian Ad Litem Program who will wrap and distribute - Zip code 32812. We have worked closely with them for the past 4 years, and will remain in touch throughout the program.

** If you prefer to shop in person and pick out your own items, that is absolutely fine! We have a drop off location in Hunter’s Creek, message us for details. Drop offs would need to be done by December 2.

Thank you for helping us give to the vulnerable children who need us right now! We are working with the Guardian Ad Litem Program with the Legal Aid Society of the Orange County Bar Association on this initiative.

Message from Finder: Found this dog at the YourStorageUnits on Pleasant Hill Rd. on 11/30/24. Very friendly, well taken care of, but no collar, so cannot locate the owner.

Description: Black and tan shepherd male dog. Not neutered, friendly, no collar so name is unknown.

As you do some Black Friday shopping, if you feel inclined there’s still a bit remaining on the sponsor a foster child wish list. Our contacts have mentioned the biggest needs at this point are gift cards and Lego sets for teens. We have included several on the wish list, but if you prefer to purchase in person, we can accept donations at our 32837 drop off location until Dec 2nd. Just message us for drop off details.

Gift cards allow these teenagers to feel independent and empowered. They often miss out on things with their peers because they cannot afford the same luxuries. Gift cards give them some of that.

It's officially Sweater Weather here in Central FL and precious Angel would love to help keep you warm.

Angel is approximately 7-8 years old and absolutely adores all humans and dogs (good with cats too!!). She would be an amazing companion for all the holiday markets and festivals. She loves any outdoor adventures and is happy to do anything as long as she is with her people!
