Hi Y’all!!! My foster hooman found me staggering up the middle of a state road, dehydrated, no collar, no chip, out in the country!! Good thing she found me when she did because I would have ended up vulture food for sure!! I am a super handsome, smart guy, with beautiful eyes, who always keeps his tail waggin! I love sleeping in my kennel so much, I’ll even do it when the door is open! I am house broken, if I am let out to do business at reasonable intervals. I have a passion for chasing a thrown ball!! Yee haaw! Ok, so, I may need a little training on the whole bring it back and let’s do it again thing, but if you can get it and throw it...GAME ON!!
I am an eager eater, however, I DO have enough manners to NOT have any food aggression issues. My foster hooman pets me and touches my face without any issues when I'm eating. You are welcome hooman. Also, foster hooman has no small children in her house so she is not sure how I would do around them. That said, I told her, I give all hoomans big and small the benefit of the doubt. I think I'm a right friendly gentleman. I've had my shots, and I am altered in a positive way (neutered), for everyone's benefit. I may be open to new k-9 friendships, however, I have not been exposed to other close K-9 situations in neutral territory, so this will need to be approached cautiously. I walk great on a leash, but do not care for rain AT ALL.
And last but not least, the 2 most important things you will want to know about me. One, I am absolutely, 110% crazy obsessed with any squeaky toy! Yup if it squeaks I am completely and utterly focused on it. If you want me to do something, or not do something, make it squeak and I am yours! My foster hooman found this to be an even better training tool than treats!! And the second thing is my foster hooman is under the suspicion that I am a digger (slump shoulders and bow head in shame). She thinks this may be how I got lost to begin with. So she never trusted me to be alone in a fenced yard. So, until I am well into an adjusted forever home routine, she suggests supervised outdoor activities and bathroom breaks.
