OMG! We are over the moon tonight! For the second time in 3 years a Big Rig Bullmastiff has gone Winner’s Dog at the National Specialty!!!!Congratulations going out to team Riggs as Amulet’s They Call Me Big Riggs went Winner’s Dog in Boxborough MA to finish his Championship! His big brother, GCHS BISS Big Rigs Tampa Tank did the same 2 years ago. This year he was BOS at the Independent Specialty before the Nationals! Huge thank you’s to Lisa Tremblay, Cheryl Michaud Pike, all the handlers and the families that love and care for these boys! You have made us so proud to be co-breeders of these wonderful dogs. We are honored and their Momma, Lexi, would be so proud!

It took me several days to get myself together enough to write this post. On Thursday, we lost our beloved Lexi - CH Hurricane’s Nor’Easter Easter at Three Coins. The most wonderful Bullmastiff that ever was! Dam of the #5 Bullmastiff, GCH CH Big Rigs Tampa Tank; Big Rigs Chip Off The Old Rock; Amulets They Call Me Big Riggs; and Big Rig Border Song, she will live on through her offspring. She was such an old soul and was always so gentle and loving toward my mother who was in her 90’s and struggling with dementia. She loved to be invited up for “hugs.” She was Lovingly called Lexi Lu, Big Girl and “Bulldog” (when she was being stubborn). We miss you so much Big Girl. You left us way too soon. Thank you, Lisa Tremblay of Hurricane Bullmastiffs for making the last 7 years with her possible. We cherished her every day.
