✨Adorable and Adoptable✨Miss Molly is a sweet and fun-loving 4 year old pup! She is currently being fostered with a local dog trainer, and she’s doing great!

**Please note, We are posting Molly’s profile to help get her noticed, but she is not our dog***

“Molly takes a few meet & greets to warm up to new humans, but once you are in her circle, you are in it for life! She can be snuggly or active and would love a home that could provide both!

She would prefer a low traffic household (not many comers/goers) and a home with no children or cats. Molly would be fine living with another dog! Molly loves other dogs and loves to romp and play with them. She knows many basic cues and is fully muzzle trained. She has the foundations for the sport of agility and would love someone who has a fenced in yard to continue to practice with!

Our team at Pawsitive has been rehabilitating Molly at our facility for a couple of years now to help set her up for success in her forever home. She origionally came to us from a local rescue who no longer wanted to continue her rehabilitation (for reasons that have nothing to do with Molly!). We see a lot of potential in Molly, so we couldn't let anything bad happen to her! Unfortunately, because we are not a rescue, and don’t have a lot of presence on social media, Molly has been over-looked for YEARS. While she loves life working with her favorite trainers every day, she really deserves a home of her own! We are asking for a foster or adopter to step forward and help us get to know her in a home setting. We would provide on-going training support, food, and veterinary care.

An experienced dog person is a must! Molly has our team’s hearts wrapped around her paw and we only want the best for her moving forward.

If you are looking to make an addition to your household, are a training intern, or just want to help dogs in need, but aren’t ready for the long term commitment of adoption, this is a great way to get involved in this industry!

ELAF alum dogs Rocco, Spencer, Newman, and Augie were all adopted by the same group of friends (as well as Manny…. Not pictured), and they get together all the time for “family” time. Here they are pictured with Ali, Spencer and Newman’s adopter!

The giant and serious-appearing (but actually truly goofy) ELAF alum, Lincoln!

Hard to believe this boy was once a 10week old pup fending for himself on the streets of Houston. He’s grown into a lovely boy, and is so loved and well cared-for in his adoptive home! Thanks Sam and Cella!💕🐾🐾🐾

Parents aren’t supposed to have favorites… but we heard a rumor that Stevie might just be her foster mom’s favorite🤭💕 We hear that Stevie has adjusted well to every environment she’s been in… and her foster mom even takes her to work with her!

Carson: ADOPTED ✅

This fun, happy, friendly boy recently found his forever folks!

We saw Carson on a shelter euthanasia list this summer, and couldn’t say no to this face (who could?!) Carson is as cool a dog as he appears: friendly with dogs and people, busy, active, cuddly, and smart! After he received all his routine medical care in Texas, while living with his wonderful foster family (thank you to Fawnne and her gigantic heart!💕), he headed to Maine to find his eventual adopters!

Thank you to MacKenzie and Billy for adopting! Carson, we’re thrilled you are so loved! We know you’re going to have the absolute BEST life! We are honored to have been part of your journey❤️‍🩹

💕⭐️Adoptable JONI!⭐️💕

Unlike her sisters (Stevie and Billie), Joni is more of an observer. She spends more time on the periphery of the action, taking it all in. She doesn’t actively seek attention, but rather waits patiently for her turn. She does love to run and play, but she’s just a bit lower-energy than her sisters. She’s also a cuddle-bug, and has the endearing habit of staring adoringly into your eyes while being loved-on. We think she sounds pretty wonderful!💞

The Trifecta of Adorableness! The Songstress puppies (Billie, Joni, and Stevie)!🎵🎸🎶🎤

These girls were found living all alone at a car wash in South Texas a few months ago…. as 10week old pups. 😞 No mom. No one to care for them. We took them in when no one else would, and spent a small fortune boarding them at the local veterinary clinic until an amazing foster stepped up to help them (and us😭🙏🏻💕)

Fast forward to now: each girl is sweet and loving. They each have a unique personality, and a uniquely colored haircoat! Each girl is still looking for her forever home!

These puppies are about 5months old and currently 25lbs. We’re guessing they are cattle dog mixed breeds.

Good morning! From ✨Beautiful and Adoptable✨Betty!☀️

This girl is the whole package: sweet and loving with people and dogs! She’s even cat friendly!🐈

Betty is lower energy, a touch shy, and never going to be overly athletic after her hip surgeries. But she loves to run around the yard, play with other dogs, and is a first rate 🥇 cuddler! She’s also gorgeous! Imagine staring into this beautiful face while snuggling on the couch every night! What could possibly be better?!

Betty would do best in a home with another dog, as she adjusts to a new home! She’s ready for her people! Message us for more information!💌

Amelia continues to do well in her foster home! She enjoys the company of other dogs and doesn’t seem to care about cats. She’s a tiny pocket pittie at about 40lbs and such a sweetie. And her adorable face… just so cute!🥰

Amelia has completed treatment for heartworm disease and recently tested negative! Next (and final) medical thing on the list for her is to have orthopedic surgery on her kneecaps for intermittent lameness. It’s not life-threatening, but is important for her to have this surgery to ensure future leg comfort as she ages.

It’s been an expensive year for us, with Cece, Betty, and Obi’s surgeries. Any donations toward Amelia’s surgery appreciated… so we can get it done soon! We want to get her ready for the next chapter of her life: Adoption!

Adoptable Betty!😍 This big, lovely girl is dog and cat friendly! She is loving and cuddly with her humans. Betty had bilateral hip surgery over the summer, and is doing well! She’s a lower-energy kind of girl, who will enjoy shorter walks with her people, wrestling and cuddling with dog friends, and just being an overall lovely companion. We love this video of Ella and her Texas foster mom, Yolanda.💕 Ella is a bit stressed and worried during a vet visit, and Yolanda is there to support her and talk her through it. We have the BEST foster families! So much love and time goes into each of our rescued dogs. So very grateful.🙏🏻🐾💞🐾

🐾✨Adoptable Obi!✨🐾 This sweet, funny, resilient guy is about 2yo and 35lbs. He was found by the side of a road with severe injuries to a hind leg and his tail this summer, after presumably being hit by a car. He underwent surgery immediately after he was found to remove his tail and very badly injured right hind limb. Having only 3 legs has not slowed him down… AT ALL!😆 He’s a very busy, very joyful guy! Obi is heartworm positive and undergoing treatment in Texas before he heads to Maine for adoption. He’s dog friendly, respectful of cats, and loves his people. 🩷Gorgeous Nina! Here she is playing with her semi-paralyzed foster brother… what a sweetie she is!🩷 Nina is still waiting for her forever home, and we’re unsure why!🤔 This girl is LOVELY! She loves other dogs and is very playful. As is typical of her breed (cattle dog mix), she’s a busy kid and will need active folk who like to walk and hike regularly with their canine companions. She could also make a wonderful agility dog! ✅house-trained ✅crate-trained ✅respectful of cats 🐈 Nina is about 1.5yo and 35lbs. She’s vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative, and on flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. She’s ready to go! Message us for more information!💌💌💌

Our newest intake was sprung from the shelter this morning! So much has gone into developing a plan for this girl, and we are grateful to each person who had a hand in making this possible for this exceptionally lucky dog. Donations to her care appreciated… she is an older girl who has seen much sadness and suffering in her life, and no doubt she will need a lot of medical care.
