Dog bill of rights??? Looks like California tree-huggers are trying to move one step closer to outlawing protection and guard dogs. They are proposing a dog's Bill of Rights that includes the following: "Dogs and cats have the right to a life of comfort, free of fear and anxiety." This could easily be interpreted to include the antagonization required in making guard and protection dogs.

Had Luna into the vet today for a full blood workup. We've been fighting a little bit of kennel cough, but I was noticing something wasn't right. Last couple of days she's been lethargic. Glad I took her in. Looks like she may be in the begining stages of gastroenteritis. She's slightly dehydrated. Now we're trying to think of what may be the cause....

Gertie has a different keep than the other dogs due to her bad hip. As to date is has not given her any problems, but I still avoid close circle running such as a flirt Pole. Instead we play games of fetch. This way she is sprinting in a straight line rather than running in a circle. Of course she also spends time on the spring Pole, and there isn't anything in the world Gertie would rather do than play tug! After she's done with her morning routine, she loves to eat!

Luca is on a different keep than luna. He started out his morning with a quick game of tug, and then a 1-mile walk. After the walk he did a couple minutes on the flirt Pole, and then 15 minutes on the spring Pole. Is then allowed to wind down, and then it's time to eat!

Finishing Luna's morning keep. We start out with a few minutes on the flirt Pole, followed by some tug play. Then we went for a one mile walk. When we got back, another round on the flirt Pole, with another round of tug. She then gets 15 minutes to chill out. Now for her favorite part of the morning. Eating!
