HAPPY NEW YEAR to everyone! It been one hell of a year!! We’ve moved house, (ok November 2022 but we didn’t do much when I came home if anything as I got home on 20th December 2022) I’ve managed 3 stalls this year, managed to walk Robbie on my own, got my 2 zimmer frames sent back to Milbrook, saw family over Christmas (which last year was out of the question) saw friends which was amazing as actually went out for a drink and meal with and Robbbie met Remy for the first time 🐶💪💪

Also I had Gamma Knife in London in April!

So what am I planning for 2024?

Well I’d like to be able to have my driving licence back and a new to me car! Keep building up the treat side of my business while I can’t go to work currently and learn new crochet and sewing projects for my shop and stalls. Perhaps even start a new side to the business in more pet feeding and let outs too when I get my license back. Go back Mantrailing with 1066 (Private Group) too would be good 😊

I’ll have seat belts that attach to the clips like proper seatbelt clips and crates in my car when I’m back up and running again!

Thinking into the future a little bit 🤔

And when I get my driving licence back 🚘

And hopefully this will mean getting my life back more too hopefully 💪

I am thinking of starting out just with doing let outs so people don’t have to rush back at lunch to let out and cuddle their dogs!
Also thinking of offering more pet feeding too🐶 🐱 🐈‍⬛

Who would be up for that or can recommend me to people?

At the moment DVLA are taking ages to give me my license back so I can even learn how to drive an automatic car, so we are looking next year by seems of things!

I just can’t wait to get my life back 💪💪🚘🚘 🐶🐶🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛

EDIT; I’ll try and get the walking page back up and running, if not it might be that I start a new one and call it Coastal Canine Pet Services 2.0 or something 🐶🐱

Healing grief. This picture spoke 1000 words on the day we welcomed Daisy into our family after 6 months of unbearable grief. This is where my son, scared to love another dog who is just going to die and leave him broken hearted again, melted and allowed himself to heal for a moment. So much sadness and yet the only one who could help him was this beautiful new relationship beginning. I never knew how much a dog helped all our mental health, until she wasn't there any more. Dogs are vital to happiness x

Kip ( and friends). I do not walk a single step unless I have a dog with me. Taking my dogs for walks keeps me physically active ( so I can eat more cake!). I would not venture into the countryside and see/smell things like these bluebells but for the dogs. Whilst walking I have time to reflect, to think and recharge. I solve problems without realising it. Training the dogs keeps me mentally active, together we overcome challenges and build a partnership. I feel very sorry for anyone without a dog in their life.

I suffer badly from depression and anxiety, got officially diagnosed 7 years ago. Been on medication ever since …
Morgan was there through everything, he was such a king gentle soul who could read emotions so well. He never left me, would always provide that silent caring company.

He self taught that deep pressure therapy worked really well with me ❤️
He would often when he need I needed it put all his weight on my chest in a way to calm me down. He was there through everything even at the lowest of lows!
So the struggle of losing him recently is losing not only my best friend but the aid and comfort he provided ❤️

Our Robbie is just amazing with his company!

Robbie has been amazing through my bleed on the brain!
When I was in hospital, he helped Lee give him a reason to get up a sensible hour before visiting me and keeping him company (as I was in there just short of 7 weeks)
After hospital and radiotherapy when Lee is working, he's helped me with my speech as I just talk to him (despite no actual conversation, lol). We both couldn't wait to get home and see him after London!

New puppy?

Due to huge demand I am going to run a 6 week puppy only training term along side my usual classes. Puppies will need to be 12 weeks to 6 months of age. 2 weeks ago today I was having radiotherapy in London! The most scariest time of my life!

6 months ago yesterday, Lee, paramedics, nurses, doctors and surgeons saved my life!

Hoping I can get back to normal as soon as possible! I've got some ideas on walking again up my sleeve. I have sold the dog mobil (van) so it will be in my car with crates and probably part time to start with. I miss being with the dogs!

Ok, so little update on where I am currently!
I still can't drive or walk unaided, we are still waiting for an appointment in London for my Gamma Knife (radiotherapy) So, to give me more focus and a goal and aim, I'm working on the treat side of the business while I'm recovering.
My van has been unsign written and will be sold as it's not being used, so it will deteriote over time, which will upset me more when I see it.

The plan at the moment (if I can walk unaided and drive) is to use my car and start part-time first to get me back into the swing of things. I'm still finding it so difficult not walking and even can't walk our own dog (and have to ask a friend to take him out). I'm having to try and think of this as a new chapter in life and a bit of a gap year, or I will go mad!

I deleted my old website as the platform was taking too long to sort things out, so my website didn't work properly. Once I've got back to walking again, I'll have another look for the new platform. They were talking about migration of the platform before I went into hospital last year!

So for now here is the new shop to buy treats!!
