I’d love to share a before and after treatment video Of Hunny! 🐎
Hunny showed major reactions to my stress point check. So I have decided to share a before and after video of some of her treatment so all of you can see what I do! 👏🏻
You ask…. What is a STRESS POINT?
A stress point is where the tendons and ligaments come together to each muscle group. These stress points will become quite sore and the muscle group they are attached to will shut down. When the muscle group shuts down it does not receive the oxygen and blood supply needed which then causes the areas to become susceptible to injuries. When a specific muscle group shuts down, the surrounding muscle groups have to compensate which can cause serious fatigue. The stress point must be released using acupressure which will allow for better mobility and flexibility.

Babe goes froming nipping to licking.
Excited to see the changes at her next appointment!
The deep pectoral muscle draws the limb back and supports the trunk. When this muscle is sore you can see ulcer like symptoms or in some cases horses can show “cinchy/girthy” or “cold back” like symptoms.
Disclaimer: Babe has been vet checked and is negative for uclers.
This mare is on monthly maintenance
And she is really starting to love her treatments.
She’s becoming a much happier mount under saddle and on the ground!
Check her releases out 🐎
Love the signs of a good release 👏🏻
As an Equine Therapist we look for signs of relaxation while we work on making the horse feel better.
•Licking
•Chewing
•Lowering the head
•Exhaling
•Yawning
Are all great ways to tell the horse is enjoying their treatment.
