Meet Pumpkin.

She was dumped.

She was clearly used for breeding.

She needs to be vetted. She needs to be spayed. She needs rescue.

For now, she is safe in an outdoor kennel.

Please hear me out. We are not a rescue. We are not equipped for this. I am one woman who runs this group in her free time.

Pumpkin needs rescue. She can’t stay outside in this kennel all winter. Even here in the south.

Please share and tag. She will be vetted on November 19th. She will get spayed on December 20th sponsored by Nothing but Love Canine Foundation. So, we are looking for a rescue to commit to her, but she won’t transport until January.

All her expenses including travel will be covered by FHTCP.

Over the last couple days, Kelly Marie with Community Fundraising Group helped sell five cups on our behalf.

This in turn allowed us to help Grace (a foster dog) when she needs it the most. Grace had her mass removal last week, and was told that she needs to see an Opthamlogist to likely have her eye removed from glaucoma. This $93 will help with this initial consultation visit. ❤️

This past Saturday, we had a table at our local church bazaar. We were able to raise $103, which gets us closer to our goal of $500 for Rudy!

Our new friend Rebekah with Saving Sumter's Strays picked up a load of donations this morning. When they left the shelter yesterday, they had no puppy food left. Shelter staff is personally buying food out of their own pockets.

Every kennel is full. They even have puppies outside.

We are going to be adding them to our regular rotation to help. We’re really excited for this partnership. Stay stuned - we’ll be helping them with another heart worm dog soon!

Two bags of dog food went to our local Girl Scout troop yesterday.

Can you guess why?

They are going to break it down into gallon bags, and each girl gets to take some home to put in their families car. Over the winter, they are going to distribute it when they see a person experiencing homelessness with a dog.

This is what it’s all about.
