This is Herbert. He's a Canary Winged Parakeet (also known as a pocket parrot). He's currently at Petco in Lima and has been there for many, many months. I'm not going to go into the pros and cons of the pet store bird trade. Regardless of what you may think, he needs a home. We've been keeping an eye on him for months and he just seems like a sad little guy. If no one takes him, we will but our flock is pretty full. So, if you're considering getting a parrot please consider our buddy Herbert.
