You didn’t know me, but I have a lot to thank you for.
I’ve always loved reptiles, but when I first started keeping and breeding ball pythons, you were the one who taught me everything I needed to know in order to truly prosper within my passion. Seeing the amount of love being put out into the universe for you right now is magnificent, and beyond deserved. Your years of content and admiration of wildlife has forever changed hundreds of millions of lives, including my very own. Thank you for everything you did with your life, and everything that your legacy will surely carry onward. ♥️ 🐍 🦎

Look how thin this Ball Python from Petco is.
I know that they might just be having trouble getting it to eat, but from what I’ve been told by former Petco employees, they aren’t allowed to force feed them, AKA aren’t allowed to save their life if they need to.

Also, being on Aspen bedding probably isn’t helping spur appetite.

This is a very problematic weight for a juvenile ball python, and I hope it gets taken care of soon.

This is why I try to avoid going to the reptile section at Petco, because I know that I’ll probably be horrified by what I find there.

Hopefully it’ll be healthier and happier next time I’m there.

By popular demand, I have put together a couple photos of the *ONLY* Moonglow Boa sibling from the same litter as the Ghost Boas in my prior post.

What makes a Boa a "Moonglow" Boa is the combination of
the genes Hypo, Albino, & Anery.

Genetics: Jungle Hypo Albino (Kahl) Anery (Type 1)

This girl is INSANE!!! She is so sweet that I named her 'Lychee'. :)

*VARIATION EXPLANATIONS*:

- A "Snow" Boa is a combination of Albino & Anery.

- A "Ghost" Boa is a combination of Hypo & Anery.

- And lastly, a "Sunglow" is a combination of Hypo & Albino.
