8 more dogs and 4 more cats were spayed/neutered this month to help reduce the homeless pet population. That puts Bean’s Fund total over 400!!! 406, to be exact!!!
Thank you for buying pottery, etc to make this possible. Keep an eye out for more pottery soon!!!

Photos were not taken of the patients today so I will post Casper’s baby pic instead!!!

Farm Fresh Pottery!!!

Make a donation to Bean’s Fund if you’d like one of these treat jars. We will name them Big Blue and Little Blue so you can refer to them as such to let me know which you would like. These are the only two available. No mass production on the farm!

How much should I donate, you ask? To spay/neuter a cat, it is $50. A dog is $70. So, a Half Cat is $25 and a Half Dog 🐶 is $35. It would be great if we could get a Half Dog/Cat or more. (Hmmmm…..that sounds funny….an animal that is half cat, half dog?….I think I have one of those, actually!)

Are the lids air tight, you ask? Nope! But are they homemade on the farm? Yep!!

Watch this site for more pottery. Dog dishes are drying now for first firing so they will pop up in about a week. Coming soon…flower pots!!! Also, unique, one-of-a-kind bovine-inspired pieces!

Can these be shipped? Not ideally but possibly. Best if you live in the Madison, WI area so no shipping required.

Update: one package is still available!

Two donors will receive this Thank You package for covering the cost of one cat spay/neuter ($50). A p**per scooper to go get that winter p**p, a furminator to get all that extra winter fur off your dog(s), a collapsible water dish for hot adventures and, most fun of all, a BombPop water sprinkler to celebrate summer!!!

Teamwork makes the dream work!! This quilted wall hanging and kitty bed were a team effort. The late Carol McAdow, a total cat person, embroidered the featured center cat and purchased the fabric. I put it in the wall hanging and made a coordinating cat pillow. I don’t know what she had intended to do with it, probably something more extravagant and, no doubt, more impressive, but I do not have her patience or skills with the sewing machine!
The bed reverses to a soft green fabric. I know cats like it, since, of course, I had a cat trying to lay on it while I stuffed it. Such helpers!!
Can we get a $65 donation (the cost of a canine spay/neuter) to Bean’s Fund for this festive feline set?
Wall hanging is 20” square, pillow is slightly bigger.

14” rings are used but the size of the finished wreath can vary based on how crazy the maker gets with the greens!! This maker tends to make huge thick wreaths but can scale back the enthusiasm if need be. :)

September put us over the 300 mark! We have spayed/neutered 308 dogs and cats. We are told by officials in the Purcell area there is a noticeable difference: Far fewer strays are rambling about.
This may be a small dent in the homeless pet population but it is a dent, nonetheless. Big changes start with small steps. Like they say, if you ever think you are too small to make a difference, try sleeping with a mosquito!
