A fun one, share an interesting story about how one of your animals came into your life. I'll start:

Our cat Cheddar was found by a friend with a litter of other abandoned kittens and they decided to foster them. Around the same time the circle game was coming back, and while hanging out at their place I decided to do it to Cheddar, who stuck his little paw through the finger circle. Everyone started laughing and saying he was my cat now. It'll be 5 years this July.

Another amazing Earth Day celebration at A Time for Science . So many people were excited to learn aboit reptiles and several people pet a snake for the first time, always awesome to help with that experience. Also, Lava Crystal made her debut!

We had the privilege yesterday to be a part of the grand opening for A Time for Science. We brought a few of our ambassador animals out and everyone had a great time learning about reptiles! Our ball python Gwen even got her own private tour before the doors opened.

Can’t wait to be back for their Earth Day event on April 20th!

Hey everyone, a small update and an introduction.

Things have still been hectic, but I've gotten into the new routine so no longer feeling so overwhelmed. Right now work is going into straightening up the animal room and and prepping animals for next year, which should be our first year actively breeding. So be in the lookout for that.

Unfortunately our bynoes gecko Prima passed away at the end if November. It's been rough as she was a both a beloved member of the family and also an animal that came from my mentor, so the loss was double there.

Finally I'd like to finally introduce everyone to Lava Crystal. She's an albino honduran milksnake that came to us at the beginning of August. She's a former classroom pet and on her way to being an ambassador animal for educational events.

As of yesterday all of the animals have moved over to the house amd are settling in! There's still a lot of work to be done but I'm really excited for things to come.

Been a hot minute since posting, between looking for a house and finding out me and my wife are expecting our first child there hasn't been too much time to set aside for projects. But today we were lucky enough to be part of our local museum's event. Here is Apple our cal flame sand boa who was an absolute star today.

Our fire pinstripe ball python, Videl, went to a new home tonight. A good friend's son will now be taking care of her and I have no doubt she will be well taken care of and well loved. Her new name is Diana and while it is a bit sad to see her go it's great to help other people express their love of reptiles.

Today is our ball python Gwen's 6th birthday, and I thought some nice pics on the back patio would be a fun thing to do. Gwen decided she wanted to live in the outdoor couch instead. Took about an hour to get her to come off.

Also first pictures posted with the new phone, indoor pics get lightened up a bit but looks like outdoor pics show true colors better.

This past week we finally got new screen into the top of our crested gecko’s new home and he moved in! First terrarium with live plants seems to be a success so far! Enjoy the move in video where the little do**us got a little too into it and fell😅

Starting to get the animals packed up for the Charlotte Repticon this weekend! Come out and say hi, then maybe grab some art or a new friend! I will not have hognoses at this show but will have plenty of leopard geckos and some adult snakes available.

We just sent off a shed from our variable kingsnake, Tarkir, to be DNA tested to find out if they’re a boy or a girl. So let’s hear some guesses!

Personally I’m hoping girl, since that makes finding a mate and growing him up a much shorter process.
