This was a year in the making do to complications. This will be our last litter, time to hang it up and focus on my health and prepare for retirement. It’s been a fun ride, met some good people and made some friends. Most importantly we were able to introduce many families to the love and joy of being owned by a Frenchie lol.

Just got home from my urologist appointment, cancer is contained to just my prostate. I admit I cried as soon as he told me. I know I still have a battle to overcome but I was so relieved it hadn’t spread. Now the battle is underway with insurance. I want to go to UCSF but I think that is a battle that I’d rather not spend all my energy fighting but we will try. We will request UCSF and see if they approve or deny me then go from there. I am opting for surgery do to my age and when I first learned of my prognosis it was immediately what I leaned towards to start with. I’m young enough to overcome the side effects of surgery should there be any. With the cyber knife procedure it is very accurate so there is a small chance that I won’t have any of the side effects. I’ll roll the dice with that but more importantly I’ll love for years to come 🤞🏻
