Happy New Year! 🥳 Wishing you all a healthy & happy 2025!
A - Z of pet health.
B is for behavioural issues.
Does your dog bark excessively, show aggression, experience separation anxiety, or exhibit destructive behaviours?
Does your cat groom itself excessively or go to the toilet inappropriately indoors, not using its litter tray?
These are just a few examples of behavioural issues, and many pet owners face these challenges. The good news is that help is available.
👉 Behavioural issues often stem from underlying causes like:
Lack of socialisation 🐕🦺
Unmet exercise or mental stimulation needs 🥎🧠
Anxiety or fear 😟
Medical conditions or pain ⚕️

Our little dog Luna is 6 today!
What is GDV (gastric dilatation & volvulus)?
GDV is a life-threatening emergency; a twisted, bloated stomach that can cause death within a few hours if not treated surgically.
One of the main causes of GDV in deep-chested, large breed dogs is aerophagia (taking in air when eating).
This usually happens when dogs eat rapidly. Slow feeder bowls like these help, but it’s also important to remove the air after feeding.
We ask our Labradors to sit immediately after feeding for a minute or so and wait for the burp!
How do you like to start your day? 🐾🐾
Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas 🎄
