Say hello to our beautiful new friend Nala! Nala is 7 months old, friendly, fun and straight up cute!! Nala is a fun mix of Beagle, Pitty, Lab & Shepherd. She appears to have more beagle on her than anything else.

Nala is energetic, walks fairly well on leash and knows several commands such as sit, down, paw & wait. Nala is clean in her kennel but likely will need some time to acclimate to your house training schedule.

She is dog friendly, kid friendly and can likely live in any type of home. Cats are unknown.

We have noticed she is vocal at times so those in apartments & condos should consider this before applying to adopt Nala.

We are not taking anymore applications and interest on Obie. We have been flooded with calls for him and are working through meet and greets.

Sheldon has not received a single call! Maybe if he had a backstory about being tied somewhere it would make people want him? The truth is Sheldon was found roaming and a good samaritan contacted us. Who knows what he endured prior to someone finding him. He is a big teddy bear, but will need someone strong because he is a beefcake. We are sending out a plea.

Obie is still with us. We are closing in on 60 says since we found him tied to a tree. We have had 2 meet and greets, and 1 no call, no show. With no fault on Obie, they just were not the right fit. We originally stated he must go to a female only home, but we are willing to entertain a couple that is willing to put in the work and understand that it will take time for him to adjust and feel safe and comfortable around a male. Obie is beginning to get very stressed out in the kennel and it is upsetting his stomach. We NEED to find him a home.

Prior vet records state Obie is between 2-5 years old. He is up to date on vaccinations and has been neutered. Obie is excelling in his training with The Dogs Will Rise, LLC. Obie is PHENOMENAL with other dogs, and does not mind the cats we have here either. He is said to be good with children (he lived with a child prior to being with us)

Meet Sheldon!

This hefty beefcake is estimated around 5+ years old. He is still intact and will be adopted out with an APCP if he is not neutered prior to adoption. Sheldon has met other dogs and seems to interact well. We have not tested him with cats. He is very strong, but does seem to settle well.

Romeo is still available and desperately looking for a home. Romeo has been neutered, and estimated to be around a year to 2 years old. Romeo weighs about 75 pounds currently and is a very strong boy. We are looking for a home for Romeo that will dedicate time to continue his training, and provide him with a calm environment where he can be physically and mentally stimulated. We are looking for a specific placement for Romeo which includes:

-Large dog experience.
-No kids under 18 years of age.
-No cats.
-Fenced in back yard.
-Romeo is dog friendly and can be placed in a home with another dog.
-Experience with and/or the ability to work with a trainer.

Romeo is a very sweet boy who has tons of potential. He currently knows the commands sit, down, stay, and paw. He is extremely friendly with all people, and needs a strong leader. If you are interested in learning more about Romeo, please call the office at 860-645-5516.
