I’m a blind Feline leukemia+ kitty looking to show the world that kitties like me can live a good

Sweet Bogey has been through so much in his short time. He lost his eyes due to illness so he had to learn to navigate the world without site. He became felv+ probably passed from his mom. During an exam the doctor noticed a heart murmur and sent out some blood work for testing. His blood work showed significant heart disease. 😔 Bogey needs an echocardiogram to determine what heart medication he needs to help his heart do it’s job. Bogey is the sweetest and toughest little guy around. He brings joy to all those that he meets. He has even become the felv+ and blind ambassador for the sanctuary that cares for him called Cat Paws sanctuary. Bogey has a big job to do and needs help so he can continue to do.

It’s important to show those you care about how much you love them. ❤️

My sister and I are both feline leukemia positive and we are both progressive (last stage). She has one eye that she can see out of and I have none but we are happy kitties with so much love to give as you can see. If you are thinking about adopting please consider adopting kitties like us. Kitties like us have little to no chance of making it out of shelters. Feline leukemia kitties can live years without it effecting our quality of life and just need a warm lap and someone to love us. We are some of the lucky ones and a sanctuary called Cat Paws Sanctuary that takes care of kitties like us took us in. Don’t let the disease scare you, we can’t help it and just want to be a normal kitty with warm beds, treats, and cuddles.

Us blind kitties can’t see but we sure like to play! One of my favorite toys are these crinkle balls. I love hearing the sound they make when I carry them around. Sometimes I like to drop them in the water and smack them hard to make a big splash! So much fun.

One of my favorite things to do is play in the water bowl and make sure to make a puddle on the floor. The best time to play in the water is when it’s just been changed. The more water there is the bigger the splashes!

My brother isn’t blind but he does have feline leukemia like I do. He is living the good life stealing my toys and the spots I want to sleep. But I guess that’s what are brothers for. ❤️❤️❤️🙂

Like most kitties my favorite place is the top of the cat tree. At first I was a little confused how to get up and down but I quickly figured out the whole cat tree. Now I climb and sleep at the very top. I run, jump and play like my brother and sister with eyes. Feline leukemia nor lack of sight stops me. I’m one of the lucky ones and became a part of a sanctuary that takes care of kitties like me for life called Cat Paws sanctuary. If you see a kitty like me and want to adopt please give them a chance! Feline leukemia is not a death sentence and kitties like me adjust very well to being blind. Plus! We love to cuddle. ❤️

I’m Bogey and new to IG and Facebook. I am a blind Feline leukemia positive kitten that wants to show the world that kitties like me can live happy lives! I am part of a cat sanctuary called Cat Paws Sanctuary that takes care of kitties like me! Just because I can’t see doesn’t mean I don’t like to be up high enjoying the window space.
