We had three XLs we converted for NARBC: North American Reptile Breeders Conference Shaumburg, we just had to cut down the bottoms to fit the soil boxes.

Fully Bioactive/automated Blurple Chameleon room construction is in full force. Creating false bottoms, fitting the pond liner, these are going to be some happy sons of Lapis Lazuli!

We have the 🦴’s up. You didn’t think we weren’t going to stain it did you?

I drilled into my finger at the beginning 😅

We built four of these to hold all together 6 XL Reptibreeze and 8 L that we are converting into bioactive naturalistic habitats.

07/12/2024

The goal was to have the habitats sit flush instead of leaning on a gutter system and have the drainage gravity feed through a bulk head, down to the crawlspace, into a sump, and shot out of the building.

These will hold the bioactive chameleon habitats. Pt two next 🖖🖖*Cham hands*

The first of many drylock coats under Nature’s Van Gogh new paint job.

Story telling Video coming soon about how I accidentally proved out a very long term, gene locking, distant line breeding project, by pairing the sire “Lapis” to F1s to strengthen the genetics initially but was actually the final step in making a new bloodline official.

08/11/2024

From the retain clutch of our Lapis x (WC Peacock x Purple Cadillac) Every male from this pairing has displayed the blue/blurple gene, being an outcross, this project is now proven out. Lapis came from an ethically line bred project that I have pedigrees going back 5 generations. Honored to be able to be the breeder to prove out all this hard work. New bloodline in town “Lapis Lazuli!”
