All our products are sourced locally in Southwestern Wyoming & Northern Utah. Wyoming has more cows than people, and many families butcher a cow every year for food instead of getting their meat from grocery stores.

Before Ugly Chews, the hides from these cows were just thrown away. So we partnered with the local butchers to gather the hides from these cows and make them into our all-natural dog chews.

"I gave my Augustus a chew last night. I woke up at 4am, and he was STILL going to town on it. I took it away... gave it back to him a little while ago... he's just carrying it around with him now. No pieces have broken off, it doesn't smell, and it still has an amazing amount of life to it. He chews through big big big bones in a matter of hours. I am thoroughly amazed at how well this hide is standing up to him!"

Schatzi is a sneaky schnauzer. Not only did he want his Ugly Chew, but he also stole one of the large chews that his rottweiler friend had. And he got away with it!
