Puppy Mill Rescue Team Rescue is a registered 501c3 nonprofit organization. We rescue discarded dogs and puppies from puppy mills, local shelters, over-crowded Southern Rescues/Shelters, as well as local surrenders and place them in skilled, volunteer foster homes located in Western NY and the Finger Lakes area that will care for their needs and help prepare them for adoption with loving families

. Our rescue assures that dogs in our care get high quality veterinary services. The Puppy Mill Rescue Team also works to educate the public about puppy mills and supports efforts to eradicate the existence of the inhumane mass dog breeding facilities commonly known as puppy mills. The Team promotes choosing pet adoption, over purchasing online or from a pet store, as the vast majority of those are sourced by puppy mills

Holly is a happy girl! Do you know what would make her happier? A forever home ( or a foster home)! Holly still is looking for a foster or adopter. She has been in boarding a long time and hasn’t had an application since she came into the rescue several months ago. She’s gone through so much in her short life- she was a young mom who was left to starve and she endured months of heart worm treatment. She’s a sweet, loving, exuberant dog. She is super smart and eager to learn. She loves dogs her size and does great in daycare. She’d be a great hiking or running partner. Whatever you’re doing she wants to be there. She’d do best in a home without cats, young kids or small dogs. While she’s met some small dogs and has been fine, her energy and play style is best suited for a home without the littles. She just needs someone to give her a chance. She’ll be your best friend!

It’s Wednesday, so let’s take a look into the Puppy Mill Rescue Team Nursery 🎀

These cuties are from a litter of puppies that were found in a southern shelter without their mom, at just 3 or 4 weeks old. Tiny babies! 🐾
One of our rescue friends shared them looking for help, and we couldn’t say no! (We’ll drop those first photos in the comments). They have done a lot of catching up with quality nutrition and LOVE in our foster homes. They’re now 8 weeks old and ready to find forever homes 💕 These puppies were said to be Boxer mixes, but we suspect another Bully breed in there, too. They’re so sweet and ready to complete your home! Their $500 adoption fee includes: microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, deworming, and alters scheduled through the rescue.

Meet Elvis, Vega, and Viva! 🎲

These attention-grabbing puppies are all searching for a family of their own. They are a *gorgeous* blue/gray color and are incredibly smart puppies. These pups are working on crate training, house training, and super social. We have DNA results 🧬 and they are about 1/3 German Shepherd and then a mix of lots of other breeds. Flip Flop is a 5 year old shih tzu who is waiting patiently for her forever home. She's a sweet, quiet soul who needs a quiet house with lots of love. She is shy at first, but if she hears a loud noise she will find you and beg to be picked up and cuddled. She’s become her foster mom’s little shadow.

She does great with other dogs and thinks cats are okay too. She is house trained, fully vetted, and ready for a forever home. FLIP FLOP REQUIRES A PHYSICALLY FENCED YARD. Apply today!
