Puppy Mill Rescue Team Rescue is a registered 501c3 nonprofit organization. We rescue discarded dogs and puppies from puppy mills, local shelters, over-crowded Southern Rescues/Shelters, as well as local surrenders and place them in skilled, volunteer foster homes located in Western NY and the Finger Lakes area that will care for their needs and help prepare them for adoption with loving families

. Our rescue assures that dogs in our care get high quality veterinary services. The Puppy Mill Rescue Team also works to educate the public about puppy mills and supports efforts to eradicate the existence of the inhumane mass dog breeding facilities commonly known as puppy mills. The Team promotes choosing pet adoption, over purchasing online or from a pet store, as the vast majority of those are sourced by puppy mills

Every holiday season includes a little liquor… and this crew is the perfect “shot” of cute to complete the party! 🎉

Meet the **Cocktail Litter**—a group of tiny, adorable pups who are shaking things up this season. While we’re not quite sure what their “mix” is, these little cuties are small in size, about 8 weeks old, and have an undeniable resemblance to pint-sized Labs. The only way to know their exact recipe? A DNA test! 🧬😉

One thing we *do* know for sure: they’re sweet, playful, and ready to steal hearts. 💕

Casper is wishing for a forever home for the holidays! Rescued from a puppy mill, Casper, a 3 month old Cocker Spaniel puppy, is blind and deaf but full of love. 💙 He relies on touch, routine, and human closeness to feel safe—and snuggling is his favorite thing.

✨ Breaking News: Stella Is NOT a Muppet✨
(Though we fully understand the confusion.)

Meet Stella, a sturdy little terrier mix just under 20 lbs with hair as big as her personality—and trust us, that personality is *strong*. Stella knows what she wants, what she likes, and she’s not shy about it 💁‍♀️

💕 Things Stella *loves*:
• Perching proudly on the *top* of the couch
• Supervising the neighborhood from the window
• Sniffing every inch of the yard
• Food (very important)
• Toys, belly rubs, and car rides
• Being close to *her* person

😌 Things Stella is not a huge fan of:
• Being home alone
• Sharing food or toys with other dogs
• Lots of visitors
• People having the audacity to walk past “her” house

Stella is crate trained, does great pottying outside or on p*e pads, and actually enjoys her crate—often hanging out in it with the door open. She tolerates other dogs but is a bit bossy, so she’d do best as an only dog or with a very easygoing canine companion. She’s currently living with cats and mostly ignores them like the queen she is. 👑🐱

She may take a minute to warm up to new people, but once she does, she’s loyal and affectionate. Stella would thrive in a quieter home without lots of visitors—somewhere she can rule her kingdom in peace.

If you’re looking for a hilarious, opinionated, couch-top-loving companion who wants nothing more than to be close to her person… **Stella might just be your girl** 🐾💖
