Why is regular nail trimming so important?

Dogs that walk on sidewalks, blacktop or other hard surfaces wear the nails down naturally.
However, dogs that don't have this option, only walk on grassy surface or spend alot of time indoors don't wear down their nails as easily. When your dogs nails hit the floor constantly it creates pressure on the nail bed causing discomfort and causes your dog to distribute their weight differently. Overtime this puts added stress on not only the nail but the joints in the toes and paws.

Regular nail trimming and filing ( every 4-6 weeks) helps keeps your dog comfortable when they walk but also prevents nails from being torn off at play.

Your dog will thank you 💖

PSA:
Dear Clients,
A couple little notes I need to address.

Please do not leave your grooming bookings till last minute hoping to get a spot same day, week or even couple weeks out.
I'm currently booking for August and have few dates available.
Please note as the nice weather is here Please do not ask to have your dog groomed outside. This presents many safety hazards for me and the dog.
Dogs are far more distracted and could put themselves at risk by seeing a bird, squirrel etc and want to jump off my table to get it, they can overheat-my tabletop is black and it could get very hot to stand on, just to name a few reasons.
Under NO circumstances will I agree to outdoor grooms. If the hair or mess is a issue, please take your dog to a grooming salon.
