These puppies are being raised in our home, well versed to children! Eden loves being in charge of and Levi has found his favorite job to be the cream cheese reward for lessons. These puppies have been exposed to from day 1 and the only thing they’ll suffer from is probably FOMO (fear of missing out) if they’re not in the middle of the fun 😂😉

The "water themed" litter has names!
Meet Puppy 1: Manami--"sea or love"
Puppy 2: Remi: "Beautiful sea"
Puppy 3: Niko: "lakes"
Puppy 4: Izumi: "spring fountain"

Their new owners will give them permanent names, but we give them puppy names, because we can't keep calling them Puppy 1 and Puppy 2.

Two weeks before her puppies are due, and Kuma is enjoying her new whelping den. I could feel the puppies moving inside her today for the first time. I'm praying for strong, healthy puppies and a safe delivery.

I'm teaching this deaf puppy self control in Puppy preschool.

Puppy is working on her crate skills.

My newest students are learning to give me their attention even in a distracting environment like Cabela's.

Don't my students look well-behaved as they practice "Relax on a rug?" This moment was peaceful, but a few moments later, Keiko reached her paw over and bopped Avi on the head. The lesson turned into a wrestling match between my two star students. Iko looked on in disgust, asking, "Can't you get the hooligans to behave themselves?" A day in the life of Doggy School.

The best part of "Puppy School" is definitely recess!

Kristina my apprentice trainer is working with Luke the Golden Retriever to help him learn to stand when she stops walking. Luke has mastered the automatic sit, but now he needs to learn another option.

Avi the Labrador Retriever is learning to play the "Magic Circle" game on a long line. She's such a smart girl. I'm allowing her to go explore, but rewarding her when she chooses to walk next to me. Over time and more lessons, she will choose to walk with me more frequently.

Teddy the Golden Retriever puppy is one of my "Loose Leash Walking Intensive" students. He's doing so well that we went on a field trip to Tractor Supply for the first time today. He's a great puppy!

Sit and stay

Working on the basic beginning of down/stay. She's such a smart puppy!

Training tip: To help your dog stay calm around other dogs, find a place to relax near a dog park. Reward your dog for calm behavior. Stay far enough away so that your dog can be calm, even if you have to stay in your car.
