I don't know how to delete this page, so I'm just going to post that Barks and Wiggles Mobile Grooming is permanently closed. I've been unable to completely recover from being mauled by a dog in October of last year.

I have some good news and bad news. I saw a specialist last week. The loss of feeling in my hand and arm is NOT permanent! But I will regain feeling slowly. Barks and Wiggles Mobile Grooming is down but not out. I'm so grateful that Ducky's Dog Spa & Mobile Grooming and CiCi's Dog Salon have stepped up and taken care of my clients, including my own dogs. This entire community is amazing.....even though I'm a come here....yall have never once made me feel like I don't belong here. Thank yall so much....and with my best impression of Tiny Tim....Merry Christmas and God bless everyone 💖

Great news....I'm fully healed from my injury and back from vacation, so I'm back to work!

I'm almost 100% healed! Unfortunately I had my injury right before my family flies down from Wisconsin for vacation. I will make up all the appointments I had to reschedule and will resume regular appointments in August. I truly apologize for the inconvenience and thank all of yall for patience and understanding.

Barks and Wiggles Mobile Grooming is down for the next 2 weeks. I sliced my foot open, had to go to the ER, and get 10 stitches. As soon as I'm able to walk again, I'll be taking appointments. I apologize for the inconvenience.

Why does a dog groom cost more than your own haircut ??

Your hairdresser doesn’t wash and clean around your butt and express a**l glands
You probably don’t go 8 weeks without washing or brushing your hair
Your hairdresser doesn’t have to remove your eye boogers.
Most likely, you sit still for your hairdresser.
Your haircut doesn’t include a free pedicure and manicure.
You probably didn’t roll in mud or step bairfooted into poo in the last few weeks.
You probably don’t bite or scratch your hairdresser.
Your hairdresser probably doesn’t clean out your eyes for you.
It’s unlikely that your hairdresser trims hair anywhere on your body except your head. (ugh, let’s hope not!)
The likelihood of you pooping or peeing on your hairdresser is VERY slim 🙂
