Congratulations to our newest graduate pairs. This class includes a number of PBB firsts: the first facility dog to be placed in a fire department, and the first facility dog to be placed in a public school. We are proud to be able to expand our program to serve the growing needs of our communities. It is well documented that police officers are at higher risk of mental health issues than the general population. To creatively combat this crisis, officer Daniela Garcia, and her PBB facility dog partner @ppd_k9_dave, have initiated wellness hikes for their colleagues in the Paterson Police Department.
