It is well documented that police officers are at higher risk of mental health issues than the general population. To creatively combat this crisis, officer Daniela Garcia, and her PBB facility dog partner @ppd_k9_dave, have initiated wellness hikes for their colleagues in the Paterson Police Department.

Isn’t that a fitting name for the season? She is being raised in Greenhaven Correctional Facility to be a service or facility dog. An energetic, confident, and outgoing puppy, Autumn enjoys meeting people—and other canine friends—of all ages.
She loves walking with her socializers around the neighborhood and to the park. During these walks she gets exposed to new sounds, smells, and sights, such as car alarms, dogs, and children playing— all important experiences to help make her as confident she can be.
Even when indoors to visit stores, many people remark on her good behavior as a young puppy!
