2nd group of pups went to get their shots & flea, tick, & heartworm prevention today. This group also received a clean bill of health and was ready for a nap on the way home. Again, thanks to my mom for all of her help. Also, today Blayze was available to go with us and I appreciate her help as well ❤️ The hardest part is getting everything loaded and unloaded. The puppies are so well behaved! They’re actually the easiest part of the entire process 🐶❤️🦴🐾

These were taken a few days ago (Wednesday 9/13) when we took the first group of pups to the vet for their 1st set of shots. They received a clean bill of health. No worms & they were started on their flea, tick, and heartworm prevention.
Next set of 4 pups go today, then the last 3 pups will go next week 😅 It’s a job & I couldn’t do it without my helper -my mom.

We had one pup that wasn’t adjusting well to eating the mush out of a bowl. We were scooping it out and letting him lick it from our hands -hoping he would catch on. With a lot of patience and working with him, he finally got it! 🙌🏼

On August 12th my daughter & I built a box for the puppies to move into. This decision was based on a few things… First, we needed something to help make clean up easier on us (as they were now eating the mushed up food and p**ping more.. lol). And we were also wanting to try to start encouraging them to p**p in one area. That would help us with clean up, as well as allow us to start working with the pups in the area of early potty training. Which in return will assist their new humans with that process once they move on to their forever homes. It’s been a work in progress and we’ve ”tweaked” a few things since building it that have helped in these areas.
Just wanted to share this part of our journey 😉

Our journey began with a scheduled c-section on July 14th… but momma Stella was ready on Wednesday July 12th. We made the almost 3 hour drive to the vet in Archer, Florida for an emergency c-section. A little past midnight on July 13th, Stella had ELEVEN of the most precious pups ever!!!
