Hello everyone! If this page disappears in the near future, it is because Facebook did not like my last post using the “M” word. I’m trying to get a review but they are saying they will delete my page completely. I hope they will review it and see that it was a fun ride and no one was actually hurt. 😬. I have no idea if this means they will take my personal page as well or not.

Just curious to see what kind of response we will get… Would anyone be interested in a full moon ride? We have a full moon coming up October 17, (which would still be quite full on the 18th) and one on November 15th. It would just be for fun. I never get to ride with any of you and this would be a great time! I want to see how many are interested before I start shopping for reflective trail markers 😁

Looks like the trail this year will be around 8.5 miles. Make sure you’re hungry because mama Erdine is getting a hearty lunch ready!

Hello riders, my heart is broken to tell you that I have to cancel the ride for September 21st. 😔 I stupidly broke my ankle and I cannot get the course ready in time. I feel just awful as I enjoy hosting these events as much as you all enjoy riding in them. Hopefully, things will heal well and the October ride will go as scheduled. I will certainly keep you all posted. Thank you all for being a loyal bunch! We appreciate you!

Nugget the Mudpuppy at it again!! The absolute pleasure that he takes in his perfectly timed mud baths will forever be an area of contention between us! 😆 I am positive that he knows if I am even thinking about riding!

Jersey Maples Farm

What do you do with a dairy farm when all the cows are gone? So many farmers have to deal with this issue when milking is no longer a viable option for staying afloat. We have mulled over so many options, just as we know others have before us. Ultimately, we have decided to put a couple (or a few) cabins on the property and make them suitable to rent to horse folks so they can bring their horses along to vacation with them. After all, we have some of the finest views in the country right here in the Endless Mountains! Our first cabin is almost done and we are pretty excited about that! Additionally, we are clearing trails and making a course that can be used for pleasure, as a hunter pace course, or as a judged obstacle course. When it’s all finished it should come in around 9.2 miles to ride the entire loop. The course includes dirt, township roads, open fields and wooded trails. Plenty of creek and stream crossings and all different types of terrain will keep anyone from becoming bored! The course is only what we have done on our property. There are enough dirt roads to ride for days! We have an abundance of wildlife so it’s never unusual to see deer, turkey, herons, pileated woodpeckers, raccoons, muskrats, an occasional beaver and more... We are pleased and anxious to host our first ride this September and hope to have many more in the future!
