***UODATE! We have the best puppy parents!! In just 2 HOURS 15 OUT OF 16 parents replied and sent pictures of their birthday babies to me! That’s 94% ( and I know the last one will message tomorrow. She amazing? THIS MAKES MY HEART SO HAPPY!! Thank you for indulging me!!

Confession time!! I just love it when Lubbock puts his little feet up on the drawer handle and tries to look on the counter while I’m cooking. He doesn’t steal any food and he doesn’t  go any farther than just at the edge to see what I’m making and if it might be something he wants 🙂 I know this is not a good behavior, but I have no desire to fix it because it is stinking adorable!
Tell me what behaviors your dogs have that are not good that you don’t want fix because you love them so. I’m not talking about any reactivity or any resource guarding. (I haven’t heard of any of our dogs with those issues, but I would encourage you if those are happening, please reach out to me privately and let’s work on how to get that fixed). But just cute little things that aren’t great but so adorable.

OK Syds Cities family, with the upcoming of our second generation, we are going to be looking for two guardian homes.

What this means is that we are looking for families who live within the DFW and surrounding area. (3 hr max distance).

These guys will reside full time with their guardian family and come home, here to Syds Cities, to vacation with us for upcoming litters.

A guardian family is responsible for all basic care costs, just as you would be for any dog, but any breeding related expenses will be handled by us.

When they are ready to retire we will take care of their spay/neuter and then ownership will be changed over to the guardian family, at no cost.

This is a PUPDATE for Brooke!!
She is 15mo old Aspen’s baby girl. Here’s what her mom, Blanche, said today :
“She's the best dog we've ever had. She's so active. Bill plays with her outside. She has stong muscular hind legs of any dog I've known. Thank you so much for sharing her to us. We love her!”

This is a combination PUPDATE  with a prayer request for one of our own.
Below you will see one of our mom’s, Lima napping with her baby, Millie, from her most recent litter. You can also see on the far right of the photo their sister, Mocha. Mocha crossed the rainbow bridge this week. Lima’s and her guardian family’s hearts are heavy. She had a fantastic long life. She told mom when it was time to go, but it’s never an easy decision to make. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers. When one of Syds Cities own hurts, we all understand their pain.

We have an Announcement!!
A lot of our moms have retired and we are so pleased with our decision to limit their litters. For Syds Cities, however, the second generation being on deck means there is a changing of the guard coming down the line!
The king, Lubbock Andrew,  is ready to step down from the throne and name his successor.
Lubbock had surgery last week and he is home with us recuperating. I think he’s fitting in super well to his new role as a retired pet ❤️

As an aside, we believe there is a final Lubbock litter due the first part of November!!  Those of you interested in having siblings at home let us know!

Fall PUPDATE! These boys are just too much! The older boy on the left is Bentley and on the right is his little brother, Dexter! I can’t believe how sweet they posed and how spoiled they obviously are! Both are Berlin’s pups and I’m so glad they enjoyed the pumpkin patch! Thanks, Ashley, for the update!!

Speaking of Berlin! I’m just going cut/paste her mom’s update here bc I can’t say it better. (And she sent photos!

Good morning! I wanted to give you an update on Berlin. She is great with the grandchildren. 😀 She watches me like a hawk. She plays outside a lot and the cat from the house behind me teases and taunts her by being on the fence or on top of their shed. Berlin gets her cornered and barks at her. It’s cute. She sleeps with me side by side. ❤️I am still so in love with her. After watching several corgi reels on FB, she displays all of these traits. 😀 Thank you for raising such an amazing dog.

PUPDATES!!
We joke all the time that Berlin made 4 models of puppy. It’s so true. These two guys are model B 🙂
Wicket lives in Georgetown now. He’s living his best life enjoying walks and playing with his friends at daycare a few days a week.
Odin is the little brother. Same model, newer year:).  He loves his toys (esp his pig). He loves cuddles and ice and is stealing hearts in DFW.
There’s not quite a year and a half between them. They are both so so handsome, so so loved, and we can’t wait to see how they both continue to change and grow!!

ANNOUNCEMENT!!
We won’t know for sure for a couple of weeks, but my Spidey sense is telling me that Ruby is pregnant! Since this is her last litter, we will be looking for her successor to remain in our program. That means we will have an opening for a Guardian home here in the DFW area for a full fluffy, female probably red corgi. There is no cost to the Guardian for the puppy and I would love to explain the details to anyone interested! Based on her anticipated due date, the puppy would come home just after the first of the year. Photo of momma for tax.
