I'm sick and tired of all the excuses I hear about dogs having to wear muzzles on a daily basis and on all their walks!!!!
This is not a life any dog should live!!!

Let's face the truth, shall we? If wearing a muzzle is normal to you, then you choose the quick fix only to make your life easier, while breaking your dog's soul, or whatever is left of it, in the process.

Muzzles do nothing to our dogs except disempowering them even more, making the fearful more fearful, the stressed more stressed, and confirming that they indeed live in a hostile world.

The only exceptional situations where wearing a muzzle could be acceptable is when your dog is in pain or they are sick, need to go to the vet, and to allow the vet to give them treatments safely.

Otherwise, they shouldn't be wearing a muzzle. Instead they should be getting the therapy and training they desperately need to feel safe in their environment.

And during this training process, you should be protecting your dog, their personal boundaries, and physical space like a hulk, keeping a safe distance from others, and being selective about where and when to walk them. Yes. This takes effort but it's totally worth it.

There are always ways to create a win-win situation for both you & your dog no matter what the challenges or the circumstances are.

Once you shift your mindset and become determined to find the win-win options, solutions will show up to you.

I have worked with all sorts of reactive, aggressive and even street dogs. Wearing a muzzle has never been an option for me, and it will never be.

Work with your dog, not against them 🐶❤️

Dogs can't cry with tears. They can only bark, lung, and show teeth. That's how they cry out of fear, pain, and helplessness.

"Reactive aggressive dogs" don't exist. It's us who judge, criticize, and label them this way, so it's their problem, not ours.
Let's just blame the 3-year-old kid, shall we?!

It makes my heart bleed when I see these poor dogs everywhere screaming for help and no-one is looking up. Not even their own parents!!! 🥹

F**k obedience, f**k control and f**k superiority, have a God damn heart first. Your dog needs you. You are the only one they have.

If you want to be a dog parent, then act like one.

I'm 💯 on your cat's side. Especially the cats who are already dead bored and have no proper indoor self-entertainment.

What do you want them to do?! 🤔 Stare at the walls?! 😂

You gotta understand that your home is your cat's entire world and it needs to be entertaining, stimulating and fun; with and without you 😸
