Super fun pet sitting gig with floofy Larry Cat, a gorgeous Axolotl, and a corn snake!
Like the Unibrow Baby, the neighbor nemesis cat provides hours of excellent enrichment for Larry.

This beautiful dark Goldie (or is she an Irish Setter?) ran up to my brother's car on our street a few days ago.
We entertained her at home for a couple hours, but turned her into the HSBV before they closed for the night.
Amazingly, her family didn't come to get her and didn't pick up the phone associated with her chip. Her collar had been removed.
Tomorrow she's scheduled to get spayed and then she'll be available for adoption.
She's young, fit, and friendly with perfect, white teeth.

The sun is high, the creek is dry.
My phone has sunscreen on its face.
Dobster makes a mess. I'm a dork in sun protective dress.
Ice water in the dromedary keeps us not thirsty very. I'm a poetic luminary.

Happy day!
I took my first two walks since a foot surgery last Thursday, wearing a tall air boot pumped up as tight as I could stand. It's quite secure feeling, and I took the opportunity to move with intensity and break a nice sweat on both walks.
It feels wonderful to get some activity in! Jogging is still a bit awkward, ha.
Today I listened to punk covers of Eminem hits. High energy.

Short walk after midnight. Night mode again.
I do love the photography this phone is capable of with very little effort or expertise.

Nice evening walk, perfect 65 degrees. 4 miles.
These pics were taken with night mode on the Note 10+ in near complete darkness (moon not yet risen, or moon behind clouds). It uses extended exposure (5 secs) and then auto digitally enhances the result.
I'm going to walk as much as I can this weekend with Dobby, since I'll be hobbled for (2? 4?) weeks starting next Thurs. I'm getting my bunion surgery hardware removed (yay).

Found this gentle old girl running in traffic on Cleveland Ave in Loveland. Now she's at the Larimer Humane Society. If she's not claimed after a few days, she'll be up for adoption.
Arthritic limp, labored breathing, ulcerative eyes. Collar, no tags.
Not into Olive Garden breadsticks, as expected, but they smelled interesting enough for her to let me approach and capture her.

Clear nights, overcast days, warm and mild -- perfect for nice, long walks. Enough to tucker the boy out! (Don't worry! He was just sleeping in that last pic.)
He's got a new plush toy to teach him gentleness. (Always under close supervision, lest he dismember and then ingest it.) He really likes it.

I'm having so much fun playing with these awesome chihuahuas! Kevin's getting his meds in pill pockets, not making it a struggle at all.
Guerta is super sporty. She loves playing fetch with the squeaky toy.
