Almost 1 week old already!!! Puppies eye and ears are still closed they find their mom and their siblings by using their sense of smell, feeling warmth and crawling. Their fur is growing in more so we are able to see some more details of their markings, colors and coat textures. Puppies have all started early neurological stimulation to strengthen their circulatory systems and to strengthen their ability to handle stress as adults.

Breeders' work never ends, we do not get the weekends or evenings off, we are up before most anyone taking care of our dogs and babies and is up past most doing the same or catching up on emails, updating, responding to messages, etc. the work never ends. We do it because we love it, and love our families not because it is easy. This morning before 10 am we had fed, playing with, and walked all our mommas bathed, brushed, and blow-dried Johnny, June, Cedar, Remi, and Piney, and took new photos of Johnny, June, and the Aspen litter. Then after breakfast, I edited photos, uploaded dropbox files, and did early neurological stimulation with both the Aspen and Timber litters. And I still have two more dogs to bathe and need to take photos of the Harley litter today and that is pretty much a normal day!
