My sweet cousin got married tonight to the sweetest man

We of course had to get a 7 dwarves photo (minus who’s on her mission).

It all started in a West Yellowstone hotel pool almost 20 years ago. Snow White (myself) took them all under my wing and dubbed them my 7 dwarves. We used to have parties with caramel apples, made character shirts, watched movies, etc. Now we just capture a photo of us all together every now and then. And although their personalities don’t all necessarily match their given dwarf name, they all know how to have a little fun pretending for the photos.

Got to help Rick on the farm today moving water lines. I have to say it was a really great time and I have so much respect for farmers (already did, but still) for the amount of time and hard work they put in every single day.

Always love seeing the animals, especially Missy the horse, but especially happy to learn a little about what real farm life is like.

Today is the last day my not so little family of 12 will be together in this space again.
Chandler is going to his dads tomorrow, and when he gets back a lot will have changed.
Marley, Luna, Lake, Shaka, Nugget, and Gretchen will be leaving on Saturday to go live with my dear friends and for a time until hopefully we can find a space for them.
The yard that we so painstakingly transformed over the past four years is already being deconstructed, and beginning next week, will be leveled to create a new space for the new owners.
I’d be lying if I said I didn’t ache as I took down my little bathtub oasis, as I remove piece by piece the coop that we made for our birds, dig up the plants that we planted for .seedesaxss and for Ping, and give away pieces of our hearts to our friends to cherish.
We are excited for the next adventure... whatever it ends up being, but our hearts are breaking at the thought of leaving this space.

Meet Gretchen my newest babe. 🐓
I set up a time to go pick her up when I thought all hope was lost with Nugget. Then we got Nugget back 🙌🏼 and I decided to still go forward with adopting Gretchen.

She is quarantining from the birds for the most part with some small introduction periods to get them acquainted... pecking order is a very real thing 😂

And if anyone wants to add a couple chickens to their flock... or has a coop to start their own - the nice guy I adopted her from has 3 more he needs homes for.

Can someone please explain to me how a chicken goes missing in broad daylight?

Chandler and I went out to work in the yard earlier and noticed one of our chickens was missing. We’ve scoured the yard and asked neighbors, all to no avail.

So I guess unless Nugget miraculously appears, we are down to one chicken 😔

Shaka (who normally only likes to be held for a second) has been more than happy with the attention we are giving her today.

So confused, and seriously bummed out.

Was happier than hog Heaven to be in the desert under blue skies for the start of the New Year! Now obviously none of us...

Now obviously none of us can promise this year won’t have some massive hurdles, but if I can leap over them the way I leapt over these red rocks I think I’ll be fine 😜
