A good stack of enclosures were just donated to the KY Scaletuary! This is going to provide some amazing homes to those surrendered or injured reptiles/amphibians who will be awaiting their forever home! Thank you so much, Damon, for your generous donation!

The holiday season is here & the amount of surrenders is only increasing. If you have any extra supplies collecting dust, consider donating them to us so we can make a difference to those who need a second chance at life! Thank you!

Look at this cutie patootie!
This is “Davey” a surrendered wood turtle who now resides with us here at the Scaletuary.

The Wood turtle is a medium-sized, semi-aquatic turtle native to north eastern america. They can live 40-60 years, are omnivorous, and can be 14-20 cm long.
Welcome to the next chapter of your life, Davey!

Received these two brothers a few weeks ago! They were housed in a 5 gallon together with no heat and in dirty conditions. It’s very clear who got the short end of the stick with metabolic bone disease & weight loss.
They have since been separated & are starting their new chapter at the scaletuary. When they are at healthy weights and have a clear health check they will be ready for adoption!

Introducing “Bob the Builder” a 2-3 year old sulcata tortoise that was discovered on a construction site. It’s unclear if the tortoise had been dumped or just escaped a yard, but no one has come forward to claim this little ray of sunshine so they will remain here for now!
A f***l test has been done and “Bob” is parasite free & ready to party!
