I was born in Marven Gardens on Ventnor Avenue and now we own a three story building on Ventnor Ave. I can't get away from the monopoly board. An era ends and a new era begins.

Being a part of our community for over 40 years the Pet Salon has sponsored the Cherry Blossom Festival for it's second year. There was a great turnout on this beautiful April day. Beth handed out free tie-dye bandanas and Judged the Grooviest Pet Contest.

Dear Competitors,

Groom South a Groom Team USA sanctioned Open Competition is presented by Groomers Helper and Co-Sponsored by PetStore Direct. Location is 1300 North Florida Mango Road Suite 32A West Palm Beach, Florida 33409. The dates are Saturday December 2nd and Sunday December 3rd. Classes start at 8am on both days. The show coordinator is Kathy Rose and Irina “Pina” Pinkusevich will be Judging.

Groom Team USA points will be awarded. Each 1st 2nd and 3rd place winner will receive a Groom South 2023 Ribbon. First Prize in each class is $300, 2nd is $200, and 3rd is $100. Best In Show will be awarded $1,000 plus additional gifts.

All competitors must sign a Code of Conduct Letter and a Terms and Conditions Form that comes with the registration package. Also, they must sign a “Conflict of Interest Form” to compete also attached to this post. If you have not received these forms, you must advise us so we may send you the forms you are missing.

Registration will be closing on October 31st. Due to limited space, there will only be a maximum of 15 Competitors per class. It is first come first serve so get those registrations in now. All payments due should be received by Oct 31st or the registered competitor will not be able to compete. Attached is the Competition Schedule and a “Conflict of Interest Form”.

Please go to [email protected] to request a registration package if you have not done so. There is only one more slot in the Poodle class. Four more slots in the Purebred Class. Four more slots in the Hand Stripping Class and Eight more slots left in Spaniels and Setters. The Competition schedule is attached.

👇 Here we are again!!! This year in conjunction with UPETS® (The University of Pet Education Technology & Sciences) - we are setting up another GroomTeam USA Sanctioned Open Competition at Groom South for 2023’s year end!

Competition dates are Saturday December 2nd and Sunday December 3rd.

Dominic and Elena of Pet Store Direct have been gracious enough not only to co-sponsor Groom South but also are hosting Groom South at their West Palm Beach location, at 1300 North Florida Mango Road Suite 32 A West Palm Beach Fl 33409. There are many pet friendly hotels next to the Palm Beach International Airport which is very close to the show location. If you need a list of them, please reach out!

We will be taking Registrations starting September 10th.

Competition will be an Open Competition with Groom Team Points being awarded. Prizes and awards will be announced at a later date. Joey Villani will be running the competitions. And Irina (Pina) Pinkusevich will be judging. See you all at Groom Expo at Hershey, PA this Friday, Saturday and Sunday!

Space is limited and will be awarded on a first come first serve basis. Consult the Groom South page for further updates.

🔥Due to an overwhelming amount of applicants and the limited amount of competition space, we would need everyone who is registering to complete the registration packet as soon as possible.😀
Space is limited and competitors do not have a guaranteed seat until classes are chosen and payment is taken!
We are taking the registrations on a first come, first serve basis and we do have you being the first responding for registration so you will get first placement.

👇 Here we are again and I know it is short notice but we have no other choice to keep the Groom Team USA Sanction for next year for a much larger show in Ft. Lauderdale. Competition dates are Saturday December 10th and Sunday December 11th. Dominic and Elena of Pet Store Direct have been gracious enough not only to co-sponsor Groom South but also are hosting Groom South at their West Palm Beach location, 500 N Florida Mango Rd Suite 16, West Palm Beach FL 33409 . There are many pet friendly hotels next to the Palm Beach International Airport which is very close to the show location. We will be taking Registrations on the 26th of October at Groomers Helper (609) 350-6480 Ext 3. More information will be forthcoming on the Groom South page. Competition will be an Open Competition with Groom Team Points being awarded. Grand Prizes include $3000.00 split between Best All Around Groomer and Best Groomed Dog plus vendor sponsorship donations of a K-9 II Dryers a 2 Full Sets of Flexit Brushes and 2 Sets of Heiniger Clippers further Vendor Prize donations are forthcoming.
